Peep Inside Dinosaurs: 1

Great book for our 2 year old. Often picks this for a read.

I first saw this (and several other Peep Inside books) in WHSmith and after having a quick flick through them, they seemed ideal presents for my young nephews. There are quite a few titles to cater to a variety of interests; such as Peep Inside:* Night-time* Space* Beauty and the Beast < This one looks so good!* Cinderella < Also looks really good!* Little Red Riding Hood < Basically, the fairytale edition ones are my favourite.* The Zoo* The Castle* The Garden* The Farm* Animal Homes* The JungleThey are board back books so fairly sturdy which I prefer when buying books for children. The flaps inside are a little stiff which is completely normal for a new book. I would maybe recommend that an adult go through the book before giving it to the child and open all of the flaps so that it is easier for them to see where they are and in which direction they flip open. I say this more to avoid damaging the book as a few times my nephews (age 3 and 5) tried to open the flap in the wrong direction, which would have caused it to be ripped.The pages are bright and colourful and there is not too much writing which makes this an ideal story for young children but it also would make an ideal book for children learning to read.Overall they loved this book and sat so nicely while we read it together. They liked it that much they asked to read it more than once that day, so I would definitely recommend buying this book.

My 2 year old daughter is absolutely obsessed with it and makes us read it up o 8 times a day :-) However I was a bit confused by the condition. I bought it second hand because the condition was rated as “Good.” However the last but one page was completely ripped away top and bottom :-( I fixed it with sellotape and I’m not bothered, but I was a bit surprised that was categorised as good condition :-/

This is a lovely book with bright fun drawings and lots of pop up fun for young children to interact with. I have a lot of other Usborne 'Peep Inside' books as my daughter loves them. She is going through a dinosaur phase at the moment so this is a great addition to her night time reading collection. The book is sturdy so can stand up rough handling. I also like the fact that the dinosaur pictures are colourful and friendly. My daughter is 2.5 and is scared of realistic dinosaurs, so this book doesn’t scare her before bed! If you like pop up books or the Usborne pop up series, you can’t go wrong with this. It’s suitable for babies and toddlers as it doesn’t have too much text but older kids can enjoy the art and simple fun of looking under the pop ups.

This book is fantastic for little dinosaur lovers. I bought it for my son when he was about 3. He thought it was great with flaps good and sturdy enough for little fingers. We have also got the space one.I have since bought this as presents for other little ones.

My boy loves this book so much its been read every night since Christmas. Great books, we have the farm and zoo ones also.

Our great grandson received this book as a Christmas present and was delighted with it.

This is the 3rd book of this style I have. They are a favourite with my toddler.
