My son asked me to hunt down a specific tape so he could “drag click”. After exploring the properties and composition of this basic tape, it ticked all the boxes. It arrived the next day, was applied to his mouse and bingo, he got what he wanted for his gaming fix.

Yes, it's just tape but there are 20 meters of it and it's cheap. PVC electrical tape rated to EN60454 as well as being flame retardant and self-extinguishing. I've found that it sticks just as well as any other.I have a list of cheap, handy items in my wish list that are useful for 'order filling' to get you over the £20 delivery threshold. This tape was one of those items, so I saved on delivery charges and got a reel of tape as well. What's not to like?

I know it's only tape and I should not expect a lot but this tape just fails on many levels. Initially it's all ok when you wrap wire or something but then end of tape just peels off and it becomes loose especially in cold environment. I needed a green tape and couldn't find any hence I've ordered this one but it's just not much practical. It doesn't stick well when you try to rea-djust or re-apply it.

This a great inexpensive roll of stretchy electrical tape. I used this for bike handlebars to secure the ends of the handlebar tape. It's easy to snap off with hands yet it stays on the handlebar well.Best price I have seen for this item on amazon!

Cheap purchase for under £1, to replace existing tape around wires. As others have said, the adhesive isn’t great but there’s a lot to use and layering up seemed to be the solution. I can’t comment for longevity - I’m not sure how long this will last but I have plenty left if needed. For a project that needed a strong adhesive I would perhaps consider an alternative.

Does what it needs to. As always with these things, I'd like it far stickier. But can't complain as it stays in place on most surfaces.

I've bought electrical tape from plenty of shops over the years, but this has definitely been the best in recent memory. It's thick, strong and adheres very well for the price. Can't ask much more from PVC electrical tape!
