IBP Professional Dental Polisher Buffer Kit for Whiter & Whitening Teeth Stain Removal (x1)

I looked at this product about a year ago, but did not buy because of the reviews saying it was useless, or under powered. After my more expensive mains polisher stopped working (Balistic Pro), I did not want to spend a lot again so I took a chance on this cheaper one.It was messy to use, and took a little longer due to the smaller polishing cup than my old one, but the end results were excellent. In fact, they were better than my more expensive one. This was probably due to the narrow head that allowed more accuracy.I used 'Glove Club Ltd Prophy Paste Thixotropic Mint 300 gram Medium Grit'. Without this, practically all polishers would be useless. To anyone that has tried this polisher and had poor results, you're probably not using a decent grit paste, or perhaps you need to get a deep clean from the Dentist first.Since the manufacturer of this product does not mention, or explicitly recommend use of a 'Prophy Paste anywhere in its literature', I assume it will be at your own risk, and may shorten the life of the polishing caps. I'm only guessing here though.If you want a cheap and effective way to remove stains, and a design that can actually reach your teeth then buy this.Also note that since using 'LIVFRESH Dental Gel by Livionex' this prevents plaque from adhering to teeth and keeps them much cleaner than any other toothpaste can. Therefore if you are using another paste, you may need something more than what this polisher can provide.

Good product it does clean away stains. My first purchase broke it was replaced but I had to pay the return postage

Using this takes a little practice to get it just right. The pressure sensitivity tends to make the first couple of tries challenging and the cup-shaped polishing heads can wear out pretty quickly on rough teeth or jagged fillings but, oh my!Used with a little practice and some good-quality polishing compound this device is the only one I've found that actually, quickly, improves the whiteness of teeth. It's okay to use this once a month, I'm told but my use tends to be every couple of months and it has whitened my teeth from a very dingy state to a very respectable smile.

Expensive but not very reliable. The polisher has a soft rubber tip that rotates to clean. It's not like the dentist hard polisher but flexible and a bit floppy. However, it does seem to remover some debris off teeth and the rubber tips have lasted several uses. But there are many issues with this. First, the contact switch is unreliable. You have to press the head against the body to close the contact and set the polisher on. Sometimes it takes a lot of pressure to hold it in place while brushing, which makes it awkward to hold at various angles. After a couple of uses and washes, the contact metal on the outside corroded slightly which meant that the contact would not close. I had to clean off the corrosion and twist the metal band around the body to find a clean spot for the contact. A simple on/off switch would be far better. Batteries last reasonably and it is gentle to use. After about 15 uses it stopped working altogether, so I would not recommend this for long term use.

Came in a box, well packaged. Once opened, item comes in a white soft case. Came with two batteries which was handy. Quite easy to use, can get a bit messy but I've used Prophylaxis paste and this does the job well. I will be going to see a hygienist soon and this has removed alot of old tea, coffee stains. As an ex smoker this has really helped, its removed alot of the old stains. Some stains will have to be removed by the hygienist but regular upkeep will keep teeth looking good.

Been using this teeth polisher for a week now and i can see the difference - its a gradual whitening, but it is doing its job👍

I only gave 4 stars, however, once I use it more often and get used to it, I may change my mind. I used it together with professional tooth polish and it performs very well, just can't get used the stone scraping on my teeth.

This is brilliant used alongside a professional toothpaste dentists use for scale and polish. Only downside is you cannot use it do wide-scale the backs of your teeth as it just doesn't go into your mouth at that angle
