Wow. Seriously. This works! So much so that I had to write this review to spread the word. Buy Solar Oil by CND! Today!I actually bought this product by accident initially! I was in a hurry and wanted a base coat varnish, didn't have my glasses on and dimly saw this as an add-on item. When I put it on (under 24hrs later - thanks to Prime!) I was first of all blown away by the incredible scent, it's like being pleasantly mugged by marzipan. I naturally then realised it was a treatment not a varnish but at the price I had paid I thought hey, give it a go! I've always had weak nails following a childhood of chewing. I've never found a thing to help and got used to keeping my nails short and varnished to give them pretend strength. I used the Solar Oil on the whole nail and cuticle after removing varnish and massaged it into to my cuticles every night before sleep and when I remembered during the day. The effects swiftly became apparent. My nails started growing a lot faster and so much stronger. The skin around my nails began to look replenished and my fingers generally felt so much better. I have never grown so long or been so strong, I had to cut them last night! They usually break off prior to ever needing a snip. I bought a larger bottle last night and I'm going to get the 68ml next. It's amazing and if you work as a nail technician I can't imagine a better quality (or value!) product to use on your clients, esp as the scent is a treat in itself. It's a must-have product for me now and I am delighted I bought it by happy accident! Seriously, maybe try a teeny bottle like I did? It's more than enough to get results - a little of this goes a long way. I hope it makes a difference to you as it has to me. If Solar Oil can work on my poor flimsy nails it can work for anyone: it's the Holy Grail for your nails!

Only used a few times but I can definitely see a difference! Will keep using and review again with further results.

I’m not very sold on this at all. A tiny bottle of scent-free oil, quite easy to apply to the nails and cuticles with the brush. However, it’s almost as if it contains some kind of solvent (I’ve noticed the full ingredients aren’t listed here). I’ve found it oddly drying for an oil. The product is easy to rub in but my nails don’t feel nourished at all, in fact the cuticles feeltight and a little sore. Won’t be buying this again. i have a half-used tub of coconut oil in the fridge, and I’ve a feeling it will do at least as good a job, if not a better one.
