Great
Bought for some small modelling projects and it seems great. Not used it much but all good so far :)

Plastic mitre block not brilliany
Saw is great. The mitre block being plastic easily gets cut by the saw

For hobby modelling use really
Basically for use only in hobby modelling - (very fine /small size) work etc e.g. model railway. So given 3 stars only - as mitre block is very shallow (about 6 millimetres which is not clear in the specification). As it was bought for scotia / floor beading mitre work, it is far too shallow for 'wood work' unless cutting dowels. However, happy to use when necessary for fine stuff so happy enough to keep.

Very accurate
The depth of cut is relatively small but the saw is very fine and really sharp. Picture frame finished with great results

This Mitre and saw set replaced an old one that my father in law had which had seen much better days. My wife is thrilled with it and is using it making her dolls house interiors.

Look elsewhere and spend slightly more or else you will be buying twice
I returned this back to Amazon after a week or so use because it was not very good quality. It had early promise with the initial mitre cuts turning out well. Unfortunately, the mitre box plastic is incredibly soft and gets chewed up by the saw, widening the guide grooves and even trying to create brand new ones you don’t want. I found on mine too that although the razor saw blade itself is very good, it did come loose from the handle and pull free all too easily. I returned the set in favour of a separate razor saw and aluminium mitre box.

Excellent recommended
Ideal for small projects though the blade isn’t very deep which can be a little problem, but good value and recommended
