Dewalt 1-70-322-SP DS300 Toughsystem Toolbox (No Tote Tray)

This case must have been part of a broken up DeWalt kit by the seller but I am still grateful for its availability. Due to the fact that the DeWalt reciprocating saw has been such a good tool that I rarely have to resort to a mains powered saw. That was the reason for buy a Bosch a PSA 700E when it was offered at a very low price back in 2014. However, Bosch only provide a case for (some of) their professional reciprocating saws (blue colour body) not the domestic range (green colour). Been hunting for a suitable case for the 700E since 2014 which was why finally I settled for this DeWalt case. It is far too big and perhaps 2cm too short because the 700e could not lay flat at the bottom of the case. Anyhow, the case is still suitable now that I also bouoght the DeWalt cordless blower to go into the case.The case itself is nice and strong, strong enough to go below two other heavy cases of heavy cordless tools. If you had other similar DeWalt Tough System cases, these have locating lugs to easily stack them together and even lock them together. Pity my other cases can't as they date back to 1999 and tools of that vintage were in different cases.

I ended up using this for installing a wave logger on the west coast of Scotland.It's been holding two leisure batteries and a data logger since the middle of February (it's now ~end July) with no issues what so ever. There is a small amount of water ingress, but this is primarily from the glanded cables I added and opening the box in Scottish weather!It's robust, weatherproof and lockable so ideal!

Sturdy and strong enough to support my 110kg fat ass standing on it had for nearly a year one of the best boxes I've had I now have 3 small and 2 large they stack very well and are warterptoof provided you remember to close lid lol I previously had Makita boxes it broke first day einhell boxes are useless (although tools are great and affordable)

Really substantial box, works well for storing and transporting battery pwer tools charger etc

Dewalt’s tough system boxes are one of the best tool boxes you can buy and great prices.

Very good quality toolbox, I bought two. Locks on the side allow boxes to be stacked which makes them easier to store. Only real issue is they are not light and can be quite heavy when full, hence the two boxes to spread the load. Would recommend these they seem to be a quality item that will last for years.

I bought this box to hold my Dewalt cordless jig saw and cordless angle grinder. I was delighted to find that it had a foam insert that had been cutout for the jig saw (and a Cordless circular saw). Its well worth the the money to protect your investment.
