Didn’t work
I am currently in Turkey and after a lovely day I decided it would be prudent to plug in the repellant to make sure I didn’t get bitten during the night. Well plugging this in didn’t seem to have the desired effect, instead of repelling said little offenders it seems to instead to have turned on a “Buffet open” sign and this morning I have woken up looking like I came off badly in a paintball competition. I will instead take the box the repellant came in, hunt the little chaps down and swat them with it instead as that seems like the only way this product will be effective.

Cheap and cheerful! But effective....
These devices are a tad cheap and cheerful so, care needs to be taken when plugging them into the mains. That said, we find them effective both at home and on holiday. At home, we use a UK/EU adapter (not a UK shaver adapter as those have different pin spacing) and a timer set for 8pm to 2am. This minimises disturbing the unit and maximises the time between changing the liquid bottle. We find a bottle lasts about 6 weeks.Oddly, buying new units on Amazon (2 for less than £7) is much cheaper than buying refills (almost £5 each)! So, even if I break one of the devices, it doesn't matter, we have plenty of spares! Strange.......

Used in Greece in the middle of summer, many ...
Used in Greece in the middle of summer, many were complaining of bites, but we had none whilst in our rooms. These products would appear to work really well. We had to throw away bottles of repellent that were barely used as we couldn't fully trust the seals once the product had been opened. Overall works really really well, although a bit more thought could be given to transportation after use.

Didn't work for me.
Others have said they work but in my case they didnt. They arrived and had leaked their contents in the box. Not a great deal appeared to have escaped from the bottles and we were due to go on holiday the day after so I didn't make a fuss, wrapped the bottles in a plastic bag and took them with us.While on holiday we set them up in the room. I don't even know if they worked, the liquid didn't appear to go down much in 10 days of continuous use and 1 of them even had a few mosquitos sat on top of it at 1 stage!A very similar looking plug in repellent supplied by the resort (looked exactly the same but it was red) worked well with the liquid clearly being used up. I bought the plugs home but left the bottles with the liquid there as I didn't want them leaking on the home journey.I'll get better ones for the next holiday.

Buzz Free ..........but not this time
Have they changed the formula recently? These quite simply didn't work this time. I had numerous mosquitoes in our room and these didn't effect them at all or stop others from joining in the feeding frenzy. I even had a bunch of them waiting about on the wall directly above the plug in.

The instructions are very poor, there is no indications whether the plugs work ...
Well. we have been using these repellents for a while but to be honest you just can't measure their effectiveness. The instructions are very poor, there is no indications whether the plugs work when they plugged in or not. Also you don't know when and how frequently you have to use these so it would be helpful to include some proper guidance.Update : please have a look at the picture. I was able to use this 3 times and the 2 pins just simply went in when i tried to plug it into the sockets. It is a total 100% rubbish.

Wonderful Stuff !!
I first discovered this Jungle anti mosquito plugin system whilst living in Europe - was delighted to see it was available via Amazon when I returned to the UK. I have recommended this protection system to family and friends as I have found it to be the most efficient method of the many I have tried!

Cannot pack for the plane
We purchased these to take to the canaries but have since been told we are unable to take in our baggage on the flight due to being flammable liquid. So ok, but the question is why be able to sell this 2 pin plug to UK if this is the regulation? So a waste of money for us unfortunately! As we’ve always been able to take repellent abroad with us before now
