I am as pale as they come. I’ve tried unsuccessfully in the past to use self tanning products and they’ve streaked or I’ve become orange. However, I’m fed up with being asked if I’m unwell all the time, so I decided it was time to get a bit of a tan.I did my research, this has had excellent reviews. I wanted something easy and idiot proof to apply and Ive got it. I’m on my third bottle now and I love it.Prep is everything, I use an exfoliating mitt the day before all over, then moisturise concentrating on elbows, knees and the ankles.I also use a very good tanning mitt which helps a lot.As I am so fair the first application looked far too dark. It’s absolutely not a fault with the product, I just am that pasty white. So I now apply mixing 50/50 with a moisturiser and blending in a bowl first. Most wont need to do this, but fellow super fair maidens might also need to.I apply to face by using the same method but using a facial moisturiser and rubbing into the hair line. Don’t get it anywhere near your lashline, it’ll sting. I’m sure you know that and you’re not a moron like me, I learned the hard way, but just be careful.It has never streaked or looked orange and applying it is really simple. And as a gradual tanner you can apply as often or as little as you like. I tend to re-apply every 3 days or so, but I’ve got the knack for it now and it takes about ten minutes.A bottle tends to last me about a month, but considering how much a spray tan costs and lasts less than a week for me I find it extremely good value.I’m told it looks very natural and I’m asked if I’ve been on holiday or told that I’m “looking well”,much better than being asked if I’ve had a spray tan done. I build up the cover over time so it’s subtle. It’s a tiny bit shimmery, but I think it looks dewy.It does smell like fake tan to me and you will smell like biscuits. This doesn’t bother me much as I apply it before bed and shower when I get up. Once it’s dried it’s never stained clothing or bedding. You don’t need a thick layer of it on, just rub it in with a good mitt and walk around in the buff until it’s touch dry then ideally put on loose clothing.If you’re worried about self tanning, trust this product. It’s brilliant and you should buy it.

This is a great self tanning product, probably one of the nicest ones I've use in terms of the colour and moisturising effects.The colour looks really lovely and natural, it starts to develop immediately giving you a natural glow and seems to darken over time with only one application, incredible results. The colour lasted about 3 washes before I felt I needed apply again, so effectively only needs one applying once or twice a week.The texture feel really thick and creamy and is easily absorbed into the skin with no residue and leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft. The only down side is that does have that fake tan smell unfortunatly but it seems to have gone by the next day.Will definitely be buying again. Its St Tropez for me all the way now! Great product.

Best tan I have used. The colour is amazing. I often find that gradual tans literally leave you wondering what was the point in bothering to put it on as it takes ages to develop. This not only has a beige 'make up' look to the lotion, so you know where you have actually applied it, but the colour develops so quickly. I find that one coat is enough for me to not need to apply any more and I have a decent, noticeable tan. I should point out my complexion is beyond pale - Casper the ghost is more naturally tanned than I am - and I am delighted that this product actually makes me look tanned. I have found that to be very rare when trying gradual tans. I have found there is zero fake tan smell too it as well. I usually apply a few hours before bed to allow it to develop overnight and for the first time, I have not woken up with random streaks on my body in the morning (I appreciate that is a pitfall of applying at night). Dries quickly, and most importantly, sets quickly. While it lasts really, really well, it also comes off when you need it to evenly. You don't have that patchy 'I've clearly tried to scrub this tan off so I can start over' look. And because it is pretty instant in its darkness tone, you don't have the faff of spending days trying to build it up again.

I wanted a tinted moisturiser that gave me a quick tan. It goes on very well and gives a lovely glow but does take a very long time to dry, smells quite nice and has been fine on my pretty sensitive skin. I tend to use this a couple of times a week and it keeps a nice natural look, I even used a small amount on my face and works nicely, I suffer with red cheeks and this seems to reduce the need for makeup as the natural glow looks lovely.

Absolutely lovely product. I’ve tried a few tanning creams, lotions and other bits and this is so far the best one out there!!!I applied it like a regular lotion after having a shower, it had a nice pleasant smell, could see the difference instantly!!!It doesn’t do orange undertones but looks just like a natural lovely tan. The smell was was good as well.It dried relatively quickly.The next day it looked even a bit darker than straight after the application and I am not complaining. In the morning it had that fake tan smell, but after a shower that went away and the colour stayed on for a good few days, even showering every day.No streaking, no spots. Lovely product. Will definitely only continue buying this.

I like this product but I don’t love it, I prefer the original gradual tan st tropez. This is handy in that it does leave a sunkissed glow immediately but if you apply it at night on white bed sheets it leaves the worst orange smudges I’ve know (and I’ve tried a lot of fake tan products) but that’s because it gives you colour immediately. It did wash out of my white bed linen though which is good.It’s consistency is a lot more ‘runny’ than the original which is annoying and even being careful has left splashes on my carpet of fake tan.I probably wouldn’t buy this again but will use the product up as it does give a nice even buildable tan. I bought medium/dark shade which is fine on my fair skin (NW20 reference of MAC, if you know, you know!)
