Shu Uemura Art of Hair Essence Absolue 150ml

Versatile and light. Use before shampoo or after. I mix a bit with conditioner and it’s fabulous. I’m a swimming teacher and this not only smells great but makes my hair feel amazing and stops it drying out and looking like a massive frizzy mess. Kinder than olaplex, better results and smells way nicer.

A good quality product which I use for my hair after washing and towel drying. It’s non greasy and improves the management and quality of the hair. I only use 2 drops for my short hair. Really good value for money.

This hair oil is wonderful. I was recommended it by my hairdressers.I have frizzy/curly hair that I used to straighten pretty much every day. Now I just put this oil in my hair and leave my hair to dry in a microfibre towel, and it gives me my curls/waves without the frizziness. I don’t have to straighten my hair every day now!It is pricey for what it is, however it lasts for ages - I first bought this in July and I still have just under half a bottle left.Would recommend!

I love this stuff! I have long thick bleached hair and have tried everything over the years.I now use this before and after drying my hair and find it makes my hair easier to dry and also stops it from going fluffy after heat styling.The only reason it gets 4 stars is because as others have mentioned the caps on these do often break and then leak.

An appreciated gift

Shu Uemura is a great line so of course this is great as well. Smells great, doesn't weigh your hair down like some heavier oils and gives your hair just what it needs to tame frizz, add shine and to keep it soft. I put it on before I blow dry my hair and after.

Amazing product. I have hair extensions that cam sometimes be dry after washing. I just use a small amount through the ends before straightening and it leaves it silky soft. Wish I had found this product ages ago as I would not be without it now.

As others have written, a little goes a long way. My normal go to hair oil is Wella SP luxe oil, however I believe Shu Uemura Essence Absolute is a step above .. I have very thick, very long hair and occasionally use hair extensions and it’s fabulous for both, admittedly it’s more expensive, but in terms of volume of bottle and results , I feel it’s worth every penny. It came it the same packaging you would find in a Salon, so it’s the real deal.. will defo buy again when it runs out.
