This McLaren P1 is an authentic replica. I have it on my Office desk and it's always a conversation starter. It's a great purchase for any car enthusiast. I definitely recommend it.

To start off, this came shipped with a lot of care. The McLaren box was wrapped and had paper stuffed around the box to prevent it from hitting the inner walls of the Amazon box.The McLaren itself came without any scratches or damages. It’s also very shiny.Looks just like the picture!I bought this because I thought it was a model car. I figured this would have a metal frame, but it is all plastic. Initially I did not know this was an RC car, so it makes sense why it is all plastic.My issue is that since this is an RC car — which is a bit pricey — I expected it to maneuver really well. However, there are 4 buttons and none are pressure sensitive. This means you can accelerate and reverse at one speed; and you turn left or right at one angle. Technically, I guess there are 6 buttons if you count the ones to open and close the doors.Overall, this is a great product considering it is an RC car and it looks like the real deal.If you’re looking for any RC car, then I would recommend looking for one with a bit more features. But if you are looking specifically for a P1 McLaren, then this is the perfect product. It’s a great blend between realism and fun.

This car arrived very well packaged, and in perfect condition. It drives nicely, and looks awesome. It also survived an accidental trip down a half flight of stairs with no damage!

My son's favorite car is a McLaren. I purchased this item for him for Christmas. He loves it. Only issue we've had is sometimes the doors get off track so sometimes they won't open or close correctly until you pop it back in place (be careful not to break it when doing so). It has basic buttons. One button that steers to go back and forth, and another button that you use to go left or right. Then it has 2 additional smaller buttons (one to open the doors and another to close them). The antenna does come in handy for more distance. Speed wise...it's not too fast and its not too slow *Your welcome for that information*. All in All...I think its pretty neat. Price wise, I think it could be a little lower priced but...it was a Christmas present so I'm just happy that he was happy. Would've been cooler if it had other additions to it.
