Perfect little NAS CPU cooler fan
My NAS only has a passive heat sink and was getting hot. I got this tiny fan and a splitter to provide cooling to the CPU. Works a treat. The fan is perfect, small, neat and silent. Airflow is great and has brough my temps down a few deg. Hopefully last a long time. Recommended for tight space cooling.

Very good.
Fitted into a micro atx chassis using vertically.Even running at full speed its a quiet fan.For it's size it moves a lot of air very quietly, time will tell if it stays the same.

Looks good, not too good with airflow but it's definitely silent!
Delivery was great, item arrived very quickly. The fan is well made and looks sturdy. The included rubber mounts are, at best, an utter joke. I could not get them to go through either my case or the dedicated holes on the fan and there were no instructions anywhere to guide me. In the end, I switched my intake fan from the front of my case, my case luckily has dedicated fan mounting, and moved it to the side panel and now have this as an intake fan.The fan keeps true to its description although there is an occasional scratching or whining sound that can be resolved by simply taking my front panel off and putting it back on again. I didn't read the entire description so was pretty shocked when I actually did read it and found out this was only 1000RPM. It doesn't do a great job with airflow, I can barely feel any air even with my hand right next to the fan but I suppose it does move some air so I can't complain. For £5 you can't really go wrong. On one hand, I like the silence but on the other I would like more airflow. All in all a pretty good fan.It looks good and the cable is braided and fairly long.

Quiet and effective
I have an old QNAP NAS which suffered fan failure. I initially tried replacing it with an evercool fan but it was too noisy. The GELID however is virtually silent out of the case and only makes a low hum when installed. The internal temperature is a constant 41c.

Better than expected!
If you can spare the PCI space, this is must for any PC.I recently purchased a low sound oriented case. This case did not include a side intake fan due to the potential noise output. The case a Nanoxia Deep Silence 4 is generally scant on fans. I noticed a 5C difference (lower) in GPU with the case door off. The Gelid PCI fan kit mitigated this by reducing GPU temps by over 10C. Not only this, it does it at a very quiet operation. I still have my silent features without the heat. Do not hesitate to buy.Somne tips in using this:- Set a fan profile through your motherboards software or in the BIOS, this way you can manage when the fan kicks in so it isn't unessarily running at 100% all the time ( at these speeds you do hear a subtle woosh, when gaming with most fans going at high rpm, this would not be noticible).- The bracket it comes with is very sturdy, I recommend putting a bracket on opposite side, so there is a bracket on either side top and bottom. This keeps the fans completely straight. The kit does not feel cheap, but it is simple and quite ingenious.

Great little fans
Great slim fans, run quiet with decent flow, I'm currently using four around my 3080 to boost its cooling. Very easy to fit these almost anywhere I have one set at a banked angle above my gpu drawing backplate heat away and directing it towards a gap in the open top of case.I bought lots of fans and ultimately these gelid units are the best bank for the buck, they reduced the amount of power the system draws overall as my more powerful fans barely run with four of these on full (which is near silent). They don't have lights but the blades react to uv they also have a nice finish which reflects rgb really nicely

Runs far too hot
The motor ran incredibly hot and the RPM would fluctuate. but mostly would be ok for a bit and then slowly would come down till it stopped completely which was quite disappointing as I wanted this fan for extra cooling along my RAM. So sat the fan on top of the GPU and used the provided screws as feet, so it could bring in fresh air. (GPU has a backplate so all was fine)At first it was able to hit over 3K RPM but then it overheated and barely kept over 1K and would hold 600-800 RPM for a moment and then it'd drop and then just stop.I do have a lot of fresh air running through my system, but was curious if a dedicated fan would help. Temps aren't massively bad but I like to keep things as cool as possible, especially when running a heavy workload, temps peak to around 49c. Went for the 50mm as that was enough to cover the 4 DIMM slots, so if I ever need to go back to 64 GB, the fan would still be ok. This is a tad disappointing, given Gelid's track record of good cooling. Hopefully this was just a dud but can only review what I had and your mileage may vary. Also when I say I get plenty of air going through my system, I have 13 fans that run from 900-1500 RPM depending on temps.

Not silent, but fine for the price
We've had this fitted in both a Zalman Z9 plus and a Fractal Design Define R4, and it's not silent. It's a decent fan for the money, but it is audible. Much prefer the Noctua NF-F12 for a truly quiet fan (admittedly much more expensive at £18 for one, but the only sound from that is wind, the bearing is not audible to me). Another good choice is the corsair SP120 (though again more expensive, at £12 for one or £20 for a twin pack). This Gelid is fine, but it doesn't live up to its silent name. It also won't start at very low voltages - if you have a fan controller that under-volts your fans for power saving/noise, you'll need to turn it up to get the Gelid started. Once running it'll run at low voltages fine (5V in our case).
