Great for most guitar pedals - but not Boss!
This is a really good solution for guitarists that don't need isolated power supplies because they use simpler traditional pedals. I also use a Truetone CS-7 for a complex pedalboard that has Strymon and similar digital pedals on there, because some pedals won't play nicely if they share a daisychain arrangement. You can end up with a lot of nasty digital noise if you don't use an isolated power source.I have a simpler pedalboard as well, using old analogue pedals as well as a few newer more power-hungry devices that I know will not need an isolated power feed, and that's where this simpler 1-Spot comes in. It can feed a bunch of pedals that between them can draw as much as 1700milliamps, and the daisy chain cable will feed eight of these types of pedal. This board has things like a 1978 Ibanez OD-850 style overdrive and a 1980 MXR phase 100 that can be run using 9v battery adapters run to the battery clip inside the pedal, a couple of Tone City amp pedals, a Carlsbro Flanger and a Crybaby wah. The specifications claim that Boss pedals, whether 9v or 12v (PSA or ACA) can be powered by this unit, and I have experimented with a TU-3 tuner which seemed fine.I have tried another brand's daisychainer (Donner) with my digital pedals and the digital noise was terrible and was why I went for an isolated supply for that more demanding application, but this is all I need for a lighter and more old-school pedalboard.I can heartily recommend it. If you need to know the power draw for the pedals you are planning to use, go to the stinkfoot.se website where there is a comprehensive list of pedals ("The Power List") and their power requirements. It was very useful for me when I was planning out both boards.

Best noiseless power supply for budget mini boards
This is excellent. Light, compact, good range of adaptors, nice rubber stops to protect and cap off unused links in the chain during use. It has a high power rating (2200mA) so can handle several pedals at once. No noise even with different brands daisy chained. Good length between jacks so you can get a sensible layout on the board, and the connectors are right angle and compact - far better than the lengthy straight ones on the Boss PCS-20A dasiy chain that stick out a full inch from the top of the pedal (nightmare for mini boards).I'd buy it again in an instant, can't recommend it enough.

Still quite noisy
With some pedals it probably works well and is quiet. Although it did manage to get rid of the high pitched switching power supply noise, it introduced a lower frequency hum. Should have bit the bullet and bought a fully isolated multi output supply. My bad

Does what it says on the tin
Purchased a new effect pedal and my old power supply was humming even though I'd had no issues with it in the past. Decided to opt for the 1spot after a bit of research and couldn't be happier! Gain turned all the way up and no unwanted noise whatsoever, glad I decided to get the combo pack too as I can't see me using any other power supply in the future. Seems a bit on the pricey side when you see other supply's on amazon for 1/3 of the cost but if you care about your sound then look no further.

Does the job well
I have a small pedal board set for acoustic guitar. Nevertheless the previous supply was not able to deliver the power needed and there were some intermittent problems occurring. This solved all of that. No humming or unwanted noise as can sometimes be the case using a daisy chain approach. It is one of those pieces of your kit that you just want to work and this does.

Noisy very noisy
Very noisy introduces buzz into your signal chain no better than a cheap eBay supply even just using it on 1 pedal total waste of time and money.I read loads of reviews and assumed this would be silent, I have the CS7 which is totally silent but not this wall plug version.

Affordable, reliable and powerful.
Awesome if, like me, you've not got the money for a decent power supply and you're happy with a daisy chain. I use lots of 9v pedals and as long as you keep under the mA, which is huge.If nothing else it makes a great back up power supply.Only issue is the earth prong on the plug is plastic and snaps easily. I now leave it in an extension lead to protect it and have more outputs for practice and gigs.

Well worth the money
Great supply for a few pedals. I have 5 no fuss pedals (drive x2, fuzz, trem, and delay on a small pedaltrain board and this supply works perfectly. A lot of people talk about the need for £150+ power supplies, and maybe that's necessary if you have dozens of effects with varying power requirements, but I find this does everything I need to run a few anolouge pedals. No hum, at least not to my ears anyway.
