Burner Adjustable Stainless Steel 1 Litre/For Gel and Ethanol Fireplaces

Robust, well made and filled with very absorbant material, this burner was surprisingly good after being purchased as an experiment to use in a defunct fireplace. Only modest heat, but the flame gives off a cosy feeling.

A really well made product which we used for the first time this week. Used about two thirds of a litre of fuel which on full blast burnt for two hours. Really good heat given off with no smoke but a very slight odour which soon dispersed.The instructions tell u it takes a couple of uses on full blast to settle in.

This product looks and works exactly as described on the website. Good value. There are other burners on the market whose design allows for an arrangement of ceramic pebbles that would better hide the firebox or for height adjustment or other refinements, but the ones I priced were ridiculously expensive. This one is cheap and does the job.

The media could not be loaded. Fantastic little inset. My log burner is currently out of action due to needing to replaced. I wanted something for effect over the Xmas winter months. This little find is great. Downside-Only burns for 2 hours. But that suits me perfectly. You can relight after it has gone out and has had a 15 min cooling down period. All in all I think this is a great little find.

Very simple, but very effective.We have hidden the box amongst logs which has worked very well in our Victorian open fire. Unfortunately our chimney is no longer safe so this is our 2nd best option.Gives off a little heat, very cosy and makes us happy! Recommend.

I topped it ,up placed it in my fire place and within a minute it had leaked and the full fireplace was on fire couldn't put it out the lid didn't slide all the wat shut so had a right panic had to run outside fotlr the hose pipe and now just spent the last hour and half cleaning up and cutting burnt carpet , I'm experienced as I have the smaller one and have had it many years , so this is getting sent back and I'm back to my old faithful, I wouldn't even trust it outside if I'm honest

I do love this fire and I'm so happy to have something that allows me to have real flames in a fireplace with a blocked up chimney. It gives off far more heat than I expected too and significantly warms the room. The flames are quite big and very beautiful.On the other hand, I don't know how the seller can claim that it burns for up to 9 hours. I can't imagine under what circumstances they found this. I find that with a full litre bottle it burns for 2 or 3, even adjusted to be fairly closed. If I close it too much then the flame just goes out. This wouldn't stop me getting it again, I'd just be happier if I'd had more realistic expectations from the start. It's fairly expensive in fuel and sadly isn't something I'll be able to use all evening every day. Since you're not supposed to refill these things when still warm you couldn't have it on for hours even if you had lots of fuel handy.

The product does it's job without any fuss. Burns as stated. We enjoy using it .

Wir haben verschiedene Brenneinsätze bestellt, und bleiben bei diesem. Er ist schwer und solide sowie passgenau verarbeitet. Wir haben damit einen "normalen 200 Euro " Kaminofen aus Stahl mit Schamottsteinen auf Ethanolbetrieb "umgerüstet", anstelle des Kaufs eines reinen Ethanolkamins. So können wir den dann jetzt vorhandenen echten Kaminofen mit Ethanol nutzen, und wenn wir später wollen können wir diesen Ofen ja auch an einen Schornstein anschliessen und "normal mit Holz" betreiben was uns im Moment da noch kein Schornstein vorhanden ist mit zuviel Aufwand und Kosten verbunden ist, und müssen dann nicht wieder einen neuen Ofen kaufen. Wir sind mit dem Flammenbild sehr zufrieden, bei voll geöffnetem Schieber ist die Heizleistung enorm, der Verbrauch dann analog dazu auch. Den Schlitz 1/3 bis 1/2 zu öffnen reicht völlig. Keramikschwämme sind dabei ! Super Sache!
