Awesome train but loud
My sons loved the train! Easy to assemble and runs great. Very loud choo choo sounds that play the entire time it runs. We opened the engine and removed the music box. Now it can continuously run and not be obnoxious.

Was a Christmas gift from Santa
It was a nice train set for the money only giving 4 stars because it did not hold up well. My son is a bit rough with toys but he only really played with it Christmas day because some of the hooks that connected the cars broke off. I would have liked it to last a bit longer. But he did enjoy it.

It's loud
Loved the design of the train. My 6 year old loves it. Sounds great too . The bad ... it's very very loud . And the tracks do not stay together unless you add some little tabs between the tracks and those are going to be lost very fast . So I don't think it will last us very long . FYI batteries go in the second caboose.

Don't buy
This train set is cheaply made. The train it self is ok, but the tracks or not made for kids. The train jumps the tracks because it's not made for touching. More so it's made for displaying only hands off or you will probably cause the train to not work by pulling the thin electric card a loose that supply the caboose to move. Not for kids!! To cheap more for display only! Good to listen too. Also the men or made of thin chewable plastic that could be a choking hazard if your child chew on small objects.

Perfect for my godson 5 year old
I get it thinking about a Christmas's gift for my little godson, but he arrived at home and I completely forgot hide it and he saw and said wowwww.. so we open the box, he loves playing with the train and soldiers. I believe that it could be a great option for Christmas gift or birthday gift... for sure I can recommend this.
