Peak DesignEveryday Tote Bag

I've only had this bag for a few days, but so far I love it! I actually bought the backpack version back in 2016 as part of their kickstarter, and can say that the backpack is hands down the best backpack I've ever had. I had debated also getting this tote in the kickstarter, but didn't, and have regretted that decision. So, I decided to get the tote bag, and so far, it's just as high quality and the attention to detail is phenomenal. I'm mostly using it as work/travel bag, and everything that I had in the backpack version, easily fits into this bag as well (and might be even easier to access).The materials are great - I love the look of the Ash color with leather accents (same color as the backpack). And I can say from the backpack, the leather only looks better as it becomes "distressed" from use. I've already gotten to test it out in the rain, and the magnetic closure definitely was enough to keep everything inside dry, while sitting in the basket on my bike. The shoulder straps are very comfortable, and stay on your shoulder well. I even tried extending the straps to the "backpack" mode, and though it felt like the bag sat a bit "higher" on my back than a normal backpack, it seemed sturdy enough (haven't tested it out for longer than a couple minutes yet). My only (small) concern is the metal 'clip' that secures the main flap on the top of the bag - it's a rather pointed end, and it kind of looks like it already has put some wear on the corner of the fabric loop is secures - I am guessing that over time it might shred the fabric of the loop. The bag also sits well on the ground without risk of falling over (empty or full).The organization inside is great. There are 2 dividers, which can be moved (they velcro to the sides), but not as much flexibility on how much they can be moved around as the packpack version. Because the top can be folded down into a pocket (which is brilliant, btw), they can't be moved to take less than 1/3 of the bag, unless you fold them completely against the side, as if they weren't there. They can each take more than 1/3, but not less. Many of the internal pockets are quite small, but they fit my cables, chapstick, earbud headphones, etc all just fine. There is one internal pocket that fits slightly bigger things, like a wallet. And if you fold the dividers down, they each form a 'pocket' that more things can be put in. I have a 13" MacBook, that fits in the sleeve, though it sticks out of the padded pocket itself by an inch or two - though that doesn't stop the bag from closing just fine. But I imagine that if I dropped something heavy on the top of the bag, it wouldn't protect the edge of the laptop.Overall, very happy with my purchase! I love Peak Design's 'Everyday' series of bags.

The bag itself, I can not fault. The thought behind it is amazing and it's a joy to use. Not too bulky but can fit an amazing about of stuff in a very clever way. The materials are top notch and will last a long time to come I don't doubt. It may be a relatively high cost but it is more than worth it.The condition of the bag from in from the supplier wasn't ideal as it was dusty and the strapping had to be swiped down with a damp cloth in order to remove dust and slight mold.The courier company used to deliver the bag was useless (SEUR). The company chosen was inept and in the end I had to choose a pick up location (I order ever other week but they are consistently unable to be relied upon).

Very nice tote, when I first saw it I was a bit surprised by how big it was. I did saw the dimensions before but is different when you see a products in real. Also felt a bit heavy but I got used with this in a few days. Definitely happy I bought it, very easy access to camera and I love that stands up and not falling on a side when you put it down. Is not though a bag for any situation, but is very nice to have it if you already own a photo backpack and/or a messenger style bag.

The quality of this bag is fantastic, wish I’d have bought one earlier. It surprised me how much I could actually carry and still have room for more.

Its tapered and fits under the arm in a way no other camera bag has. finding a camera bag is a perennial problem, I think I may have solved it.
