Vagabond Bags 2L Blue Stars Hot Water Bottle

Used the hot water bottle for a week before it started leaking, making my bed wet. There is no rubber washer at the bottom of the plug to create a seal and instead relies on a plastic plug screwing down onto a raised rubber ring around the top of the filling hole. Different to how most hot water bottles seal. Returning after owning it for a week.

I just wanted a basic hot water bottle and this does the job. The cover is nice colour grey and white microfleece, and nice grey colour bottle inside. Seems great so far, I did the initial fill with cold water to check for any leakages , but so far so good. seems Good quality.

4 days we've had this water bottle.The first day we made it, and put the lid on, I thought something odd, like it kept on turning for much longer before it tightened up.I just thought its just how this bottle lid is.Day 4 of new hot water bottle and as per picture. Part of the inner thread has come off, and the lid just goes around and around.It tightens a little bit, then goes loose.Very disappointed. Won't buy this product again. It could've resulted in serious burns.It lasted 4 days.So I can return it. But I'm supposed to go to a post office or a amazon returns locker.But Boris says , dont leave your home.Think I'll just buy another bottle.But Not this brand.

Nothing to dislike about this excellent hot water bottle that kept warm for ages. It was lovely to hug when a sore tummy tried to stop me sleeping. I'm not a fan of electric blankets, and you certainly can't cuddle one if you're feeling rotten.

I've given an overall poor rating because on two or three occasions the bottle leaked from the stopper. The first time it happened it damn near scalded the person using it. I've never seen a water bottle do that before. On another occasion it quietly decanted onto our sofa without us realising. It did not empty but the sofa had a large wet patch for quite a while. This one might be faulty but we don't use it any more. The fleece cover is lovely though.

These hotwater bottles are lovely. I have the 'bunny' one and will Christmas gift the other.I am of the age when one used to buy rubber bottles with no covers but then, we covered them in towels just to prevent burns.I realise hotwater bottle covers have been available for decades but then my old rubber bottles were decades old! I had to use one the other day and realised it was perished.... before I used it!I rarely use hotwater bottles with central heating but for the odd ache, they are a boon.

Bought to take to work due to keep me warm during Covid-19 as we have to have the windows/doors open at all times for ventilation and it is making it quite cold. I did the cold water check beforehand and no leaks so filled up and kept me warm. It does seem to loose heat quite quickly however this might something to do with the temperature in the office! Overall very please and have ordered a second one for home!

It does the job. The covers material is a bit scratchy and thin. The top of the cover hooks over the mouth of the bottle which I find is a bit fiddly, I prefer the open top covers. Typically I've seen some lovely soft fluffy ones in the supermarket on sale for the same price as this. Tempted to use this one in my cat's beds, they'll love it!
