Bought for a little one who's obsessed with washing machines and very impressed with the quality of the product for such a reasonable price. The item is quite sturdy (the hinges of the door are probably the only weak point, but it would be difficult to make them any sturdier than they already are) and it has a very solid feel overall.There is a little crank handle on the back, which can be used to manually spin the drum around, which is a nice little touch. I was most impressed by the simple little safety features that a built into the product - the drum does spin around quite quickly, which did give me some concerns about injuries if little ones put their hands inside whilst its in motion, but there is a switch in the door release which cuts off the motor when the door is opened. The crank handle on the back of the product can also be easily removed, whilst using battery power, preventing little fingers getting caught in moving parts.Overall a good quality, well-designed and safe little toy that is excellent value for money - will give little ones hours of entertainment!

I knew this would be a hit. He's always hitting the buttons and fascinated by real machine..... buttons and sound effects are great. He puts all kinds in it to spin around.

I bought this for my 18 month old son as he's obsessed with my washer and dryer. He loved it instantly and immediately started putting lots of things in it and turning it on. So far it seems nice and durable - it has coped with spinning a toy tea pot, shapes from his shape sorter and his own socks! He also leans on it and carries it around and it feels sturdy. The noises are realistic and the little washing basket is cute. The cardboard washing powder box hasn't lasted long but I didn't expect it to - he is still a baby! The only fault I do have with this product is that the screw for the battery compartment was already slightly threaded and the recommended screwdriver didn't work with it. The screw is very soft but I did manage to open it using a small flat screw driver and by being gentle - I will replace the screw completely when I need to change the batteries. Overall, really pleased with this toy. It's a good size for the price and looks real.

I don't know who loves this toy more, me or my 3yr old daughter! It's a good size, as it's small enough for little hands to play with but the washing basket that came with it is ridiculously small.It can be operated manually by a turning lever on the back or by batteries. It makes a washing sound when it's turned on (with batteries) and has different washing cycles and different sound effects to go with each cycle (fill, wash, eco wash and spin all have their own sounds!). The drum is big enough to put 3-4 dolly dresses in and it has an opening washing powder drawer.Overall a great role play toy which would go well with any kitchen, doll or home play set.Please be aware though that the machine is small and wouldn't go with most play kitchens you'd buy, my daughter has a wooden ikea kitchen and it's nowhere near on the same scale as the kitchen.
