Before I got this, I was looking at the Cricut Auto Press as I'm a huge Cricut fan, as I have 3 of the cutting machines, the Easy Presses, the Mug Press, and the Hat Press, but the Auto Press was beyond my budget. I saw this one and it was a quarter of the price of the Auto Press, but the same size. I find the control dial a bit cumbersome to use, but so far I'm loving it. I got it because I plan to start a side hustle making and selling T-shirts, hats, bags, hoodies, banners, mugs, tumblers, and more. I saw a lot of YouTube videos where some people love it and others hate it. Each to their own.

Best purchase ever. It makes my life easier because I can do other things while the machine is pressing my shirt. This machine looks small in the pic but it’s pretty big I love it

VEVOR Auto Heat Press, Smart Heat Press Machine is a copy of Cricut Autopress. And just that, a copy. But, the materials used for Vevor Auto Heat Press is cheaply made. Vevor doesn’t even come close to the Cricut’s solid construction. Also, heat plate doesn’t cover the padding, it is much smaller compared to the specs. The dial control functions is not user friendly. To set the dial temperature and timer is ridiculous awkward, requires numerous clicks to get into to temperature mode or timer. Too many times the heat plate will close or open depending where it was at when trying to set temperatures and timing. Instructions is a joke, it seems as if it was unprofessional typed with some graphics “attempting” to provide some form of guidance. Vevor been around for years making in heat presses and you would think they include a chart for heating materials with this press, absolutely not.The worst part for this heat press not having the ability to close or open the heat press plate manually, it is locked, preventing from manually closing or opening. This can be a hazardous when open and exposed with children around the heat press. There is a cheaply made button on top of the heat press when press, it is supposed to close the lid (heat plate) and it does not work. The only way to close the heat plate must have power turned on and used the ridiculous dial control. Upon receiving the heat press the heat plate was close. To open it, must be turned on.FORGET DTF with this press. There is no way to swing down the heat plate manually. Not only is it a safety issue, it is also limited to DTF printing. For those who use their heat press to cure DTF powder will not have this option using Vevor Auto Heat Press. Either the heat plate stays open or close, nothing in between. Can’t manually bring heat plate down to heat DTF powder without touching the DTF film. Open or close is the only option.I would not recommend Vevor Auto Heat Press even if it sold for $100. Vevor hard a good thing going but the execution was poorly done. Fact, the amount of years Vevor been around making heat presses they should be ashamed letting this model go out to the consumers. Beyond reason Vevor was cutting cost for this press before it went into production. Vevor cut to many corners and it absolutely shows. Honestly, Vevor Auto Heat Press feels like it came from the dollar store. It is that cheaply made. How well does it heat press, I can’t answer. I struggle with dial controls enough to send it back. And I’m not sure if the heat press has even heat on the plate. Maybe it does a good job with t-shirts and vinyl, I don’t know and couldn’t care less. If the heat press did a good job pressing it is still not worth the aggravation using the dial controls. If anything If there was one thing I can say good about this heat press is the top of heat plate does not get hot, cool to the touch.Folks, you’re much better off getting HTVRONT Auto Heat Press for around the same price during the sales which happens frequently. HTVRONT is not perfect and does have some limitations, but for the same dollar amount it is by far a better heat press vs Vevor Aoto press. Recommendation for HTVRONT those who may be interest using an Auto Heat Press. Otherwise, there are plenty other heat presses to choose from without breaking the bank. And if you have some cash to throw around and wanting an auto heat press, I highly recommend Cricut Autopress. Cricut Autopress is as solid as it gets from packaging to the construction you will not find anywhere else within the small heat press markets. Cricut customers having any of their products will understand what I mean Cricut Autopress is made solid, user friendly, and a fantastic support system. They get it. And the Cricut Autopress is no exception.But, for a low cost, user friendly, well made heat press, I highly recommend HTVRONT Auto Heat Press. Or, any other heat press besides Vevor!
