Well Made But Could Do With Finer Filter Or A Selection Of Filters As Included Filter Has Fairly Large Holes
Very well made and seems like good =quality - the only thing I'd have loved is if either the filter had smaller holes as the ones in it let lots through from the oil that I am using it for from my deep fat fryer OR maybe if it had come with two or more filter inserts so one could choose the filter size but that would have been the '5th star' as it is, it is good piece of kitchen equipment or indeed could be used in the garage I suspect for minor maintenance such as motorbike or bicycle oils. For your information, the filter holes are approx. 2.5 to 3mm diameter. The filter insert can be removed and is held in the funnel by two sprung metal arms which do a great job of holding the filter in flush to the funnel.

Well made
Excellent for removing debris for cooking oil extending its life. Good value I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Great for stopping spills, - wish the holes in the filter were smaller though to catch crumbs
I find this very helpful for when I drain my deep fat fryer.the filter gets a lot of big clumps but, sadly it does not get the smaller ones.It is especially useful when draining the lot to a big bottle to get rid of in the rubbish once it has been used up, which is far less messy then trying to pour it carefully yourself and ensure you dont spill it.I do however wish the holes were smaller, as it would make the oil/beef dripping fats last longer by getting out the tiny crumps that accumulate after use.

Great liqud funel
Buying this I was hoping it would form two functions: the ability to filter some Damson Gin and move chuntney to jars didnt realise how narrow the tub was... oopsAs a liquid filter its great and will decant quickly and stop larger stones and fruit coming through. One star lost as it can air lock once the liquid hits the neck of bottlesThe funnel is no use as a chutney jar filler as too thin

It's a funnel?!?
Not much I can say really considering that it's just a funnel. It's made of metal which is easier to clean than those clear plastic funnels. It has a filter for those people that might want to filter nasty crap out of whatever it is they have decided to funnel.I don't personally need the filter for oil as I don't tend to fry much food and I mostly use it to funnel water from my water filter into a bottle to put in the fridge. However, it is a bit shallow so you can't pour the water too heavily and need to go easy with the pouring. If you need a funnel then this does the job just fine.(God, I can't believe I just spent my time reviewing a funnel. 'Facepalm')

Simple and does the job for mixing Tailwind
I purchased this to fill my soft flask bottles with Tailwind Endurance Fuel (powder for liquid nutrition). Works well, no mess and simple. Also comes with a removable filter. Can only speak for these purposes, no need to use it for anything else currently.

Great funnel
Excellent funnel. This is a good quality funnel, with a strainer that stays in place. It allows me to boil milk for making yoghurt, and when I forget to keep stirring the milk, it stops the burnt milk bits from the bottom of the pan going into the bowl for warming to increase the yoghurt culture. I've also used it for my Xmas homemade raspberry flavoured vodka drink. It nicely separates the raspberries from the vodka when I finally decant into the 'wine' bottles ( kilner bottles actually). Good quality- easy to sterilse, and a reasonable size to fit in most bottle necks.

Good funnel, but coarse filter
This is a substantial funnel, but I bought it to filter fryer oil, and the supplied (removeable) filter is to coarse for this. However, u use a fine mesh tea strainer places in the funnel, and that works well. This would have had 5 stars if it hadn't been for the filter, but as a basic metal filter, it is faultless.
