A decent model, but will require some skill
Having recently invested in a Roden kit, a Lavochkin LaGG-3, and having had to endure the horrifically challenging build process of it, I felt I needed another Eastern Front machine to sit with it.So in the end, I opted for this and an Ilyushin IL-2.The kit was cheap enough (I paid about £8) but I've noticed that with Mistercraft kits the price tends to fluctuate wildly on Amazon. The quality of the plastic itself is above average. I would wager that the manufacturing process is on the cheaper side, but the surface details are acceptable enough (mostly raised panel lines). As with most kits of the Mistercraft range, a decent finished product is going to take a lot of work, by which I mean, careful cleaning and cutting of parts to fit, and filling. Hopefully my photos will show the average quality finish for reference. The transfers in my kit began to disintegrate on contact with my brush during application. I managed to save them with extreme care, but they are not up to the same standard as other brands. See the photo for an example. With some enamel weathering wash, drybrushing and a bit of masking tape I was able to get a reasonably good model out of it. It's not my best work, for sure. One problem I did encounter was the badly-designed landing gear mounting. A small hollow block is provided for fitting inside each wing in the engine nacelles, but these refused to stay fixed in place after the rest of the plane had been constructed, and they fell out. I had to improvise a solution, which was a fun challenge, but added a few hours to the build overall. What I did fabricate has held great so far, though. That said, its an unusual subject (I had never heard of a PZL P37 Los before buying this) and I've learned about their involvement in the defence of Poland, where two squadrons of these bombers caused so much damage to Nazi Armoured Corps units in early September 1939 that the Germans had to halt their advance while waiting for reinforcements.I decided to complete it in Polish Dispositional Air Force livery, as it is a Polish aircraft by design.I've given the stars for the relatively accurate finish, the quality of the instructions and paint schematics (as usual for Mistercraft) and for the challenge. If you're experienced with modelling, it's a great model but will require some serious effort. I wouldn't recommend it for beginners, unless they were after a real challenge.

Cheap, but pretty decent kit. Worth a look
I'm guessing that this is a reboxing of an older Russian kit, but as at the time of writing this is the only version available I thought I would give it a go. As you can see from the photo, it has pretty decent fit, with only a few bits of filler required. The plastic is pretty decent, and the glass parts are actually quite decent. It can be quite lacking in detail and yet some parts especially the radio are excellent. The guns leave a bit to be desired and wheels aren't the best, but remember this costs less than £7 To be honest, if you wanted one, I'd say get it

PZL P-37 Lodz bomber
A rare kit from the Polish company Mistercraft, of the Polish late 1930's Lodz bomber which was approximately the equivalent of the RAF Blenheim and the Luftwaffe Do-17. It's decently priced. There's a choice of Polish or Romanian Air Force decals. The model is fairly basic, not too many parts, the engines and undercarriage are somewhat lacking in detail, which is par for the course for these types of kits, but it does look good when all put together. You can of course add some extras of your own if you want to jazz things up a bit - the kit is missing bombs and a bomb bay for example. It's always worth looking out for these kind of models as they're relatively cheap and the planes are not what we usually see in this country.

Fun / Frustrating in equal measures...
Difficult to review this one - the flash is awful, the sprue gates huge, the detail all raised lines, and not great. But, if you put the hours (and a heap of filler) into this model, you get an alright plane at the end. Btw, I found the decals to be fragile, but gave great low profile results if you get them on without fragmenting.

I like it but you need to beware that this is an old kit with all that comes with that.
For the price this builds up to be a nice little aircraft that certainly looks like the real thing. But.... this is not for the novice modeller to get the best out of it. Raised panel lines, large sprue gates and some dodgy molding in places. Oh I believe the molds date back to the 1980's Poland; But take your time and it looks the part.
