High quality and very nicely made.
These move well through the yarn. They are well finished and have no burrs. They feel well made and sturdy and are lighter weight. They are lovely colors like candy colors. They use the Boye style of hook. These are a high quality product. The handles are not sticky but gentle. They are smaller hooks.

Great crochet hook set
These have been really nice for both amigurumi and wearables and the price is absolutely worth it compared to buying them each individually. They’re a lot more comfortable compared to other metal crochet hooks I’ve used.I can’t speak towards longevity though, since I’ve only had them for a few months.

Grips are not what they seem
Handles are hard plastic NOT a soft rubber. they are soft to the touch but not a "squishy soft"if they were of a more ergonomic grip, i would class them really close to the Clover Amour hooks.

Great hooks, poor handles
I like the hooks but handles are a bit short and moreover they are not soft at all. Quite the opposite. If handle is improved that would be the best hooks on the market

Favorite hooks
The metal is so smooth and the handles are very comfortable. I hold my hooks like a pencil and these work perfectly.

Really comfortable hooks
I learn to crochet as a little kid, But hadn't been crocheting very recently and I'm just getting back into it. It's only recently that I saw in a video that people like different types of curves to the top of the hooks... I really have no idea which type of top curve I like... I mean what the name of it is. I do know that whatever it's called it's on these hooks. They're so comfortable and easy to use, And the way they're put together, they don't hurt your hands either. That's one of the reasons I stopped crocheting. My hands would get sore...These are really comfortable!

Works good for beginners not for experience crocheters
I am a person who wants to collect complete sets of specific brands. That's just the way I work. But what I want to mention after seeing the reviews after purchase before it arrived to me. I was worried that my yarn would split or the hooks would break. I tested the 4.5mm 5.0mm and the 6.0mm on Hobby Lobby I love cotton and Mainstays cotton yarn. Here's what I didn't like about the hooks, I have crochet on and off for 15 years. The way it slides in the yarn making your tension slower than working faster. This is really a positive thing for those who are really learning how to crochet and want a complete first set. That's who should it be marketed to. I ordered these to have on my to go hook set so I can take it with me when going out for a small project. I noticed on my set of hooks the 5mm the way it was finished in the throat (shaft) of the hook I thought it would get caught in the yarn I would use but it has not. The size is true to the comparison of their other ergonomic hooks thankfully. I will order these in the future for my students who want to learn crochet. The handle is soft but as for someone who has fibromyalgia like myself the end of the handle may bother some. If you need to put extra padding I would say go for it. Again this set is great for beginners, or as your going away set that you won't feel bad about for small projects like a wash cloth.

Terrible finish on the metal hooks compared to the plastic.
I have TWO sets of the Prym plastic hooks because they are the best hooks I ever used in almost 53 years of crocheting. I have Furls, Susan bates, Omni, Clover, Tulip Etimo... you name it, I have it. Hooks that cost 50 bucks each. But the prym PLASTIC hooks beat them all. Especially for cotton !! BUT, these METAL Prym hooks? are the worst ones I ever used other than a super cheap set from China I got once. The metal is very rough, ive had to sand/buff them all down and you cant buff inside the throat well. They snag yarn, wont glide. Slow me WAY down. As another reviewer mentioned, I ALSO find if you turn your hook AT ALL the loops just drop off. I drop more loops with these hooks than any other. I have no idea why, must be the shape of the throat . I am more used to tapered hooks compared to a inline hook, So its not that im not used to a tapered one. You have to keep that hook perfectly straignt when pulling through or you loose the loop just as others have said on here. Personally , I hate them ! But the PLASTIC Prym ergonomics and you will have the lightest, most comfortable, incredible hook ever made. Even with snaggy yarn they work flawlessly. I never drop a loop, they have plenty of room with a longer shaft for multiple loops on the hook too. But these metal ones are total garbage in my opinion and experience anyway. Waste of money. No idea how the one company can make the best and the worst I ever used, but that is my opinion .
