Mini Vertical Slide (90mm x 50mm) for instant Milling Operation on Lathe Machine metal working lathe tool

This is a total waist of money!The only good thing I can say about it is the slide it's self is very good. The clamping system is very dangerous.The clamps failed the first time I used it and pitched my part throu the shop window.Three out of four t-nuts on the clamps striped out the threads. The t-nuts are only about 2.5mm thick mild steel and are poorly made. There are only about 2 threads in the nuts. I contacted the seller about getting some more t- nuts and have only heard crikets. If the clamp failure wasn't bad enough the lead screw is way to undersized and flexed a lot when using. Probably why it striped the t-nuts. The two mounting bolts are only 5mm and much two small for secure attachment. I had to drill them out to 8mm for secure attachment. The hand wheel is to small for accurate use. There is no reference scale on the slide only some etched lines below the hand wheel with no reference indicator. The bottom line is this thing is a engineering night mare and somebody's going to get hurt using this ticking time bomb. Please pay the extra money for a quality milling attachment from a responsible manufacturer.I only gave it one star because it is the lowest possible rate. It doesn't even deserve one star.Update:The slide broke after the 2nd use and will move in only one direction. Sent it back for replacement over refund hoping I just got a bad one.Well that wasn't the story.The replacement one had the same issues as the first. I will install it and see how long it lasts. I really wanted/needed this thing to work. I ordered a different upgraded vice but it's made buy the same manufacturer so I am skeptical.

It didn't bolt up to my Jet 9x19, and I didn't expect it to. I made up a mounting plate. It is heavy and solid, and the pre-load is tight but the clamping set up is like an after-thought; I'll have to mill up some new clamps. I would not recommend it.
