Robust and Great-Flying Dog Disc
Looked at reviews here and saw this product as the best overall value IF you don't let your dog use it as a chew toy. So I bought two from amazon, and am still using the first one 1 month later. We use it in on grass, and it shows no signs of undue wear. It's obviously no longer in pristine condition, as our lab-mix will chomp down on it in flight (or as it hits the ground), but we are diligent about having her 'give' the disc (as opposed to playing tug-o-war to get it from her), so it is not torn and still flies like the day we bought it.The disc is light and has very little inertia, so you absolutely must throw it into the wind if you want it to fly straight and on-target. As with any flying disc, the more spin you put on it the better it flies, and in my view this one flies just as well as most hard plastic discs. I can easily (and accurately) put it 25 yards downrange in roughly the same spot if I'm careful not to send it up too high. If you do that, it will stall up high, and drop down abruptly (like any disc). I try and keep it no more than 5-7 ft off the ground and when thrown this way, it has a nice tendency to float towards the end, giving the dog ample time to catch up to it and grab it as it falls. If you are a less-experienced flying disc thrower, don't buy this and subsequently claim it doesn't fly well; it's a matter of technique. Will definitely buy more when these two fail.

Great frisbee for dogs
Great frisbee for dogs , but would probably be fun for people too if they were afraid of getting hit or had bad hand-eye coordination. It's the perfect size for my smallish border collie. It glides well, not too fast, and she's able to snatch it out of the air. I've had a few similar to these in the past, and they tend to last quite a last, usually until they get eaten by the lawn mower or lost, so I'm not anticipating this one beng destroyed too quickly. I will update this review if my dog is able to tear this up in the next few months. Will buy this one again in a year or so when it warrants being replaced.Update: Changed review to 5 stars. I've had this things for months now and my dog plays with it frequently. it's been sitting around in my yard and sometimes my patio (when I pick it up) and shows very little signs of wear and tear. Sure, it's dirty. But it's intact, no rips or tears, the perimeter is still circular and not warped, no seams are coming undone. My dog isn't really a chewer but does run around with things in her mouth, so it sometimes sees some heavy usage. A winner.

good toy.
This flys pretty well for a soft disc. Still not as well as i would like, but i can get enough distance for my dog to get running. Takes a little while to adjust the throwing style. (Not quite the same as a hard disc.) Does the job though. Fairly durable too. My dog isn't a shredder but we tug on it a little and it has held up so far.

Flies well, but Fragile
The timeline went like this. 7:45 take new toy out and throw it. Sails over fence. It flies well, so don't toss it hard unless you have a huge area available and a good aim. Spent next 5 min hunting thru the brush for it. Got a couple of throws to the dog, then spent another 5 min hunting when it sailed over the fence again. I think I got a lot more exercise than my dog did. He did drop it in the pool and it did float, so that was good. A few more throws and we came in (his choice; standing at the doggy door with his new toy) at 8:00. He carried it around for a bit and then he started to chew on it. Within a few minutes he'd chewed through the ring on both sides. Granted, he's a German Shepherd and a fairly strong chewer, but I still didn't expect it to be quite that fragile. When they say "Leaving your pet alone with their floppy isn't recommended as prolonged and unsupervised chewing will damage the disc.", they are grossly understating it. What they should say is, "Never leave your pet alone with their floppy because ANY chewing will destroy the disc." Still, if your dog isn't a chewer or you put it up immediately, it could be a fun toy. For dogs who like to carry their new toys around, it isn't so good.

Our tiny dogs love catching these lightweight and soft discs
We have 2 Italian Greyhounds.. they're FAST but small dogs (<10 pounds!) They love playing with these little frisbees.. it's been their favorite toy for 10+ years so far. We buy a replacement every couple of years and still keep the old one around. The discs are made out of a strong nylon taffeta type fabric with a medium density foam insert for a ring. They're very tooth friendly and won't hurt your dog if it hits them in the face. They can be thrown quite far and will last a long time. The bright neon colors are nice but will fade if left out in the weather for a few seasons. After a few years of use and weather-beatings, they soften up but are still usable.I buy them here on Amazon because the pet shops want too much!

Great product.
My dog is a "frisbee" fanatic, and this is the best soft disk. Soft on her mouth, well-made and flies pretty true. Works well dry or wet, clean or sandy. There are cheap imitations out there that try to look just like this one, but don't be fooled. Get this one. And this one was a particularly good price. I usually go through 2 or 3 a year, so I know. My dog prefers the 10-inch size, but we've used all three sizes and they are all well-made.

Solid toy but does not float well.
Solid dog toy. Had a few uses and was not destroyed. It flies okay but not as well as other dog frisbees i have had.Main issue was i threw it into the ocean....it got swallowed by and incoming wave and never came back up. it was right on shore and it is bright. Water was calm and if it came back up i would have seen it. It never came up and now i need a new dog frisbee. When it lands on top of the water it does float but when it is pulled under it does not float...or at least not float well.

My dog loves it.
This is the first toy that I can honestly say that my dog just loves. the outer green ring is soft but yet strong enough for a dog to chew on. The pink part is soft nylon material. The frisbee is designed to be thrown and goes a good distant. My dog is rather large and this toy only last a few months but i still love it because it makes my dog so incredibly happy and I'll get anything that will make my dog happy. All in all it is a very nice toy that me and my dog get to enjoy together that is why I love this toy so much.
