These books went to my grandchild for his first birthdays. His Mom said that he loved them!

Got it for my grandson...super cute little book!

The book is nice, however it may not be the easiest book for a small child to use. It's really a nice book for an adult to read & play for a child, otherwise it could be frustrating for a child. Like the design & that it comes with batteries. Makes a nice gift.

Love these books. My toddler loves pushing the buttons, and I’ve noticed lately that they’ve helped expand his vocabulary! Great quality. Highly recommend.

There are only a few animals that have speaking accompaniments. The songs only worked for about two months. Basically a complete waste of money.

Colorful pictures and good sound quality

My daycare children love the book which is why I decided to keep them. However, the batteries that came with the book did not work. I then tried to replace the batteries with new ones, and it still didn’t work in either books.Luckily, the kids never experienced the sounds that it was suppose to have so they were happy with the illustrations. Also, the book doesn’t have the amount of pages it appears to have in the advertised picture. Most of the density of the book is where the non-working battery is located 😕!!

The “First 100” collection is an absolutely brilliant and deeply successful series of infant and toddler board books. They are bright, colorful, superably illustrated, and perfectly sounding introduction to our little one in an effort for them to learn key concepts, words, numbers, animals, shapes and so forth. Such includes “Ditty Bird First 100 Animals” which is the subject of this review. The author must have looked at the universe and decided to introduce it to our youngsters, word by word, picture by picture, with “some,” but not all corresponding sounds, in a set of (100). This book has 100 color illustrations to look at, talk about, laugh and giggle about, and 100 simple first words to read and learn, too. We then get to push a button on one of the (12) pages to hear a little ditty of words and/or creature sounds. The book is very durable, and tough, for reading, going over, dropping and so forth. We had and expected to have many more hours of fun reading, button pushing and being handed the book back, to do it all over again. The book is perfect for little fingers pushing buttons and then wanting to chew on the pages. The words and sounds are crystal clear. Great speaker. One of the best sounding books, in terms of clarity I have yet to hear. Be prepared, however, 1/3rd of the book is the (12) pages, and the balance, 2/3rd of the book is the mechanism that houses the batteries, which were included, thank you, the speaker etc. Books are expensive, in general. Children’s books are no exception. Have fun pressing, listening, and reading. Education is not cheap, and this is a form of schooling your children, so they can compete in this oh, so, competitive world.I hope my thoughts assisted in your decision. I declined to include pictures as such is available with the listing and the material has a copywrite.Great book to donate, when done with it. Makes a great gift, especially when considering it is a part of a series that can be added to….

it contains many colourful pages with long audios to play.not many animal sounds in the end, but it is entertaining for babies.
