This brush pen has a reasonable weight, nice steady ink flow and is really fine as you would expect from it’s name. However, whether you really like this pen depends on your intended use and expectations. As a fude pen, it is intended as a Japanese calligraphy pen but it is also extra fine which doesn’t lend itself to the usual sweeping lines of calligraphy.If you are specifically looking for a brush pen for artwork or artistic calligraphy, in order to get those beautiful flowing brush marks you may find the stiffer nib of a Fude pen a little disappointing. Also, being so fine, you may find the 'brush' part a little hard to distinguish compared to a medium or regular nib where you can get much more variation in the thickness of the line.However, if you are looking for a really fine line, accurate and slightly stiff nib for better control - such as precise outlining in an art project, then this might be the pen you are looking for. Equally as a 'Fude' pen, you might find it easier for handwriting that a pen with more variation in width depending on stroke pressure. It is definitely a brush pen - just with limited stroke variation as it is so fine.The ink is a lovely deep black and I have not noticed any fade. All in all it is a brilliant extra fine pen and would buy again for outlining work.

Fantastic pens. Not really a brush as the tip.is solid. The ink is a little slow drying at times but lovely and rich and gives a deep black. Great for filling in small areas as little flexibility in the nib

Similar to writing with a Kuretake ZIG Letter Pen Cocoiro. To change the line width, change your pen hold style. For example you'll get a thick line with a low angle. It's only 'scratchy' when used in full upright, although the is some utility in this method as well.

these are really nice to write with, I bought them with a Japanese notebook for my kanji practice and they write beautifully.my only complaint would be they wont last that long , I've used them on about 20 pages and half the ink is gone already.

I am a pen hoarder and like trying lots of new pens. This pen feels like a holy grail and I don’t think I will find another pen that quite writes like this

I bought this 3 pack for me and my friend to draw and sketch with on regular sketchbook paper, maybe watercolour/mixed media paper occasionally. The pens are really good, the nib is nice and sharp and retains its pointy shape through many drawings while also being flexible enough to create different line weights. The pen comes with plenty of ink inside it, however (whether it was a fault with the packs we were given) the ink would have a problem with building up at the nib. This would cause a huge drop of ink to spill from the pen when you drew with it, I have a thicker version of this pen and never had this problem with it. This was really frustrating to draw with, for me and my friend, and made them unusable for technical and detailed drawing, which the fine nib is for. Again, I don't know if this is a manufacturer error with just our pens or all models but I'd be weary when getting this type of pen.

Once you have used these you will be a regular purchaser.

I draw a ton and I'm biased about pens. These are really nice, provide good clean line work, and I like them a ton.

La qualité de ces feutre est très bonne et ils sont très agréables à utiliser. Attention toutefois à la mine qui n'aime pas être malmenée. Il faut vraiment choisir l'épaisseur voulue car la pointe (notamment du très fin) est rigide.

Ya conocía los Kuretake Fude Brush Pen, van perfectos para dibujar pero no son fáciles de encontrar. Aquí los ofrecen a un precio estupendo y el paquete llega con una buena presentación.

Diese Stifte sind mir die liebsten geworden. Viele habe ich bereits ausprobiert, aber diese zeichnen sich einfach toll. Nicht zu hart und nicht zu weich. Die Tinte ist wunderbar schwarz nur sie ist leider nicht wasserfest. Haltbarkeit des Stiftes ist gut.

Very nice smooth tip, it is not the brush tip I wad expecting but this firmer tip is great for outlining and you can buy refills too!
