Absolutely delicious
After test a ton of masala chai blends that were either bland or just plain disgusting I found two on Amazon that hit the spot. I will do a separate review for that one. Here’s what you should know: I’m married to an Indian man. We take the chai pretty seriously. Went to the Indian grocery and could not find a brand that matched what I had in India. This one brand was delicious. I prefer a well spiced blend; my son thought the way I blended it was too spicy. I seep it long enough to be very flavorful because I want to taste the spices. You don’t have to do that. But this was an amazing cup of chai. I no longer go to the coffee shop for it. Save time and money plus it is delicious.

Updated Review
I’ll leave my old review below and will update. I stuffed the tea in the back of the pantry and forgot about it because I couldn’t bring myself to throw it out. Sometime last week during a migraine/autoimmune episode it somehow got shuffled in front and I was making tea with it all week before I noticed. And I like it. The best I can guess either I was somehow out of practice before and making it wrong (i had gone back to using tea bags for a while) or maybe my tasting abilities were off when I tried it before. (This would be quite possible due to the neurological nature of my disability.) anyways, I retract all the harsh things I said and definitely can recommend it now. And use a lot less leaves than a tea bag has because it is definitely much stronger than the tea dust that twinnings and such use.Old review-The Earl Grey was astringent- almost like a red grape’s skin and neither the bergamot or vanilla were detectable. Even burying my nose in the bag I couldn’t detect those scents. This tea reminded me of a regular breakfast tea. I’m very much regretting buying the 1lb bag and am trying to figure out if I should return it or find a friend that will like it. There is no way I can make myself drink 200 cups of this. Also be aware that Amazon does not accept returned for this product, whether or not it is as advertised.

Assam for the Win
Rich flavor that has worked well for fermenting kombucha or a casual pitcher of iced tea. Packaged in a ziplock bad, arrives fresh, and full of flavor. Makes good first cup in the morning too.

Horrible. Don't recommend. Better option in comments
PHOTOS: 🗑️ is "Positively Tea Company" and ☕ is "Twista Tea" If you are a tea drinking you can SEE the difference in the pictures between the good and bad tea.POSITIVITY DISGUSTING!I barely review but.....if you're a tea snob you will hate this. If you're new to tea don't drink this. This is the kind of tea that would make a new tea drinker say "I don't like tea" and never give tea a try again.Wish I could have returned this....I literally threw this tea in the trashcan where it belongs. I have never in my life threw away tea and I felt bad doing it....but I just couldn't in my right mind drink this or give it to anyone, even as a practical joke. At least they are #1 at something....It tastes like they dried out the leaves with a peatmoss fire and threw dirt on top of it to cool it down. It tastes like literal smoky dirt. Also, you can see the difference in the pictures. Positively Tea is almost ground up, pale, and too many flower buts. The good tea (aka Twista Tea) has nice long leaf pieces, it's dark, and a perfect blend. All in all WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. If this was the only tea left in the world I would still rather have nothing.Save yourself the money and don't get this. If you're looking for tea on Amazon, you should definitely get Twista Tea's version of Cream Early Gray. It's a little more expensive but it's worth it. You will throw "Positively Tea company's" cream early gray away. So basically you'll save yourself the $20 by buying a good tea rather than this one. Unlike me who spent $20 on this and $30 on Twista Tea. A good pound of tea ended up costing me $50 all together! You should not do the same as me when you can save yourself that $20 by not getting this tea and buying "Twista Tea" for $30!That is all. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.(PS you can go to my profile to find the other tea that is actually good)

Very good flavor. Not whole leaf.
The tea had a nice bold flavor. Packaged well. However it is not whole leaves. It’s more like ground coffee with slightly larger pieces.

Tea for chai
Positively Tea is excellent for chai or a strong English breakfast. Being organic and a good price is a plus. The freshness is what I most enjoy.
