Stainless Steel Ruler 12 Inch and 6 Inch Metal Rule Kit with Conversion Table

Needed some “old school” measuring equipment for my work, work in the aviation industry so needed to be a good quality and these fit the bill, great for the small akward jobs, come in handy for DIY too! Highly recommend as they are well made and priced well

These steel rules rule. One big, one little so you can accurately deduce the dimensions of larger and smaller objects. Metric and decimal are both catered for at no extra cost. And how do they measure up against their plastic cousins? They're exactly the same size, but with the added benefit that you can use them for cutting along without shaving bits off. Not as much fun as wood when it comes to twanging over the edge of a desk; however, wood stains, burns and snaps, so metal still has the edge. If you have a desperate desire to know the length, width and depth of stuff, these rulers are the solution!

Nice size, but the edges are positively dangerous. They are almost as sharp as a Stanley knife blade. It made me vary of using them and now I've just stopped using them. The stainless steel finish is not very "bright" so the black measurement lettering and graduations doesn't contrast well with the dull finish, making it harder to read in a poor light. It would be better if it was plated with a bright finish. It still functions though, so maybe I'm being too critical

I have many rulers made in all types of material. These rulers are metal, easily read, and unbreakable. Now I only need these rulers the rest can go.

Excellent accuracy

As a Machinist/Engineer/Toolmaker I was skeptical of the quality for this low price. However I was impressed at how sturdy, accurate, and well made these rulers are compared to buying a brand name. These will definitely hold up to a busy tool room environment on machining and measuring. Also the conversion tables on both rulers are clear and well etched onto the face as is the numericals on the other side, these will not rub off. I recommend these for professional and hobby use you won't be disappointed.

This twin set of rulers arrived quickly and well packaged. They are very well made. My only criticism is that they’ve got very sharp edges so it’s not advisable as a ruler set for young children.
