LionDon’t you just love Emma already from that quote!These books and these characters have completely captured my heart! I read book 1-6 in a week, and I’m ready to read them all over again! Why you may ask? Well let me tell you!I loved the journey these books took me on! Follow alongside Emma on more adventures full of friendship, grief, mourning, joy, growth, and hilarious happy moments!These books have the most wonderful tale of friendship! This group of 4 friends have my whole heart and I guarantee you will fall in love with them too!The dashing characters, the lovely characters, the quirky characters, the hilarious characters, the questionable characters, the characters that you loathe. The characters in these stories are my favorite!I have never laughed more while reading a book! Emma gets herself into the most troublesome situations! She is hilarious, a book worm, an aspiring blue stocking and I love her! The conversations, interactions and happenings in these books are the best!I have never cried more while reading a book! (I’m looking at you book 4. Grab tissues!) The grief from loss, the pain and emotion are beautifully written and I felt it deeply! I cried tears right along with Emma! Emma’s paths to healing is so touching!These books have so much depth, heart and humor! They’re intriguing and addicting. The are beautiful works of art. They are forever favorites that have found a special place in my heart and on my shelf!*content: loss of parents and loved one in the past, deals with mourning and grief, minor occasional swear word mostly from one character (d word, h word, ba word)

Can not sing Beth's praises enough. I (and my daughters!) have read all 7 books multiple times, the right mix of entertaining, thought provoking, and extremely engaging. Beth's command of the English language is incredible. Buy the whole set, you won't regret it.

What a lovely series! I could read it again and again. It is so cozy, funny, and romantic and I adore all of the characters.

“The idea that one could live in a world where a friend would invite you to go read in another’s library feels more dream than reality. It bodes well for my life’s prospects.”Lots of books, afternoon teas, friends, ridiculous situations, & witty dialogue. I can’t get enough of these books, especially since this one ends on such a cliffhanger. C’mon, Emma M Lion, write that next journal!

If you want to read something that makes you smile, giggle out loud, and maybe shed an occasional tear, this is for you. There is no place in the world quite like St Cristian’s. I wish there were! I would pack up and move. Emma has become a dear friend. I have read every book numerous times, and each time it’s like coming home. Each character has a life- I would love a series for every one! Can’t wait for the next book! Thank you Beth, with all my heart:)

This is an amazing series of books. Clean, deep, and engaging! I was 100% invested in every character before I even reached the 7th book

One minute, I laughing my tail off, the next my eyes are unexpectedly leaking. The language is sharp, witty, charming and funny. The emotions are big. Emma’s adventures are always uniquely her, and she manages to see things that go awry with at least a little humor, which might just keep her from crying.I adored getting to know our three men a bit more. The glimpses of the depths and pain they mask made me love each of them more.Now I just need book 7 ASAP! (But take all the time you need, Beth. There’s plenty to go go back and reread.)
