It's solid and all the dishes and lid fit tightly. It is well made and the manufacturer has taken some trouble to ensure the acrylic lid is protected for transit. The paper did have an automotive/oily smell but a good wash in hot soapy water took that away. I plan to buy a second as the seven compartments are not enough for me.

I didn't buy this for the intended purpose...I was wanting a handy little condiment sort of tray for sauces and pickles.On a day to day basis this didn't work out for me...the sauces etc didn't "keep" in it. even with the lid on and in the fridge.That said,I bought this as my own little experiment so can't really be negative about the uses of this...I can see its good for its intended purpose of spices.It is currently all washed up and put away - but I will use it when I'm entertaining for chutneys,pickles etc....things that will be consumed on the day.The only negative I have to say about the product itself is mine came with a massive scratch along the clear perspex of the outer lid.As I'm not using it regularly or giving it as a gift,I couldn't be bothered with the faff of changing etc.

Great item and ideal size. However no spice kit included. I know the description advertised the spice kit being available for a limited time only - but if no longer available it's best not advertised anymore.

I love this spice tray its perfect size and great for your most used seasonings at home. Keeps the work space tidy

Spice tin was a birthday gift for my son. He was delighted.
