Nice, soft support for pain in ball of foot.
The ball of my foot really hurt after I broke my toe and I found that this really helped with the pain when worn in my shoes for walking and dancing. They are nice and soft and supportive and when I didn't have one in my shoe, the ball of my foot began to ache after a while, whereas with one of these on, it didn't.

Not the best of Quality
The product is not quite as I expected them to be they are made of a very soft and thin material and they tend to move around on the foot and have to be readjusted sometimes, also they are larger than they appear on the site and only just fit my size nine feet so I would expect them to be way too large for a women's feet.

A lot depends on how you use these. My husband tried them before under socks, but they slipped around and became uncomfortable. However, add some Micropore tape or Elastoplast tape and you're in business. They seem to provide some comfort and protection when walking.

Wrong goods sent
I did not get the pads as illustrated. Instead I was sent thin pads called Wedding Mates. The pads are for my husband who already has a pair of the ones illustrated & finds them very good. However, these were the wrong goods sent and are useless to him. The galling thing is that I have discovered that this type of goods are not eligible for return. Beware!

Staple them to your foot to prevent movement!
I tried these with the hope of relieving some pain from my diagnosed Moreton's Neuroma. They just didn't tend to stay in position.I'm on my feet all day in a woodworking job, wearing steel toe-capped boots and let's not be shy here, things can get a little sweaty down in the tootsie department. These pads would pretty quickly move themselves up the side of my foot, completely out of the way from where I had carefully put them half an hour or so previously. If you can get them to stay in position then I think they would be quite comfortable, but short of stapling them to my foot, I couldn't keep them in place.Luckily they were cheap...

Highly recommended
I have had pain on the ball of my foot and the physio said it was coming from the base of my second toe. Apparently my toe is sticking up slightly and causing the problem. She recommended the gel pad as it would hold my toe in place and provide cushioning. It's done the trick! It's a bit tricky putting your sock on and keeping the pad in place but the gel is very comfortable to walk on. Money well spent!

Awkward, but comfortable.
Very awkward to put on, so unless you are able to balance on one foot, whilst trying to get your socks on to hold them in place, this might not be the product for you.Once you have them on, they work a treat, and do help with the pain a great deal.

Excellent value - works for me
These pads are an excellent temporary solution to the problem I have with the sole of my foot. They can feel a bit strange but at least they cushion the problem area when relief is needed. Once you have worked out which orientation of the pad and toe-hook is best for you I found that the best way to put them in place is as follows:- (1) put the pad hook on the appropriate toe (2) slide your sock on as far as your heel, pulling the sock up to your toes - don't bother about what is happening to the pad at this stage (3) whilst holding the sock with one hand slide the other between the sock and your foot and position the pad where it needs to be (4) pull the sock up to its normal position. If the pad moves after some use I've found it better to leave the sock on and slide my hand between sock and foot to reposition the pad.
