With some care it’ll do you proud
I’d not been making much wallpaper stripping headway with a more expensive Harris Vanquish 2” stripping tool so I ordered this slightly larger one. The Silverline blade is much thinner and more bendy than the Vanquish but it could get under the pre-soaked wallpaper much better. Made the job a lot easier in fact.As for durability, it is budget. I’m sure if you apply all the force through the handle the blade will snap so I’ve been using two fingers on top of the blade to add extra pressure when tackling stubborn bits. As with all my tools, I washed it in warm soapy water and dried it after and so far there are no signs of corrosion. All in all I feel I made a good choice.

Nice enough, but came apart
Broke within minutes. Came apart at the handle. Could've done with a bit more and stronger glue for where it slots into the handle.Amazon were nice enough to refund me and let me keep it, which meant I could finish off the jobs I needed to do round the house I just purchased, but I did however place an order for some other ones to be delivered the next day to go over and give them a final filling.I'm bit really sure whether to recommend it or not, because mine could've, and most likely was, a one off faulty product. But the item looked nice and was sharp and flat enough for a smooth finish. Nice grip to the handle, not too small or big for my hands.

PERFECT for (ANOTHER) UNCONVENTIONAL USE !!!
This item needed a bit more work than the roller for my (VERY UNCONVENTIONAL!) purpose - was to have have been central part of a flexatone (yep, you guessed it - another percussion instrument !!!) ... but after a bit of 'jiggery pokery' I made it into something COMPLETELY new ... new word in the dictionary (mine!) - a SPATCH (don't ask me to explain how I got it to work or what that is; it'd take too long !!!). So there it is in situ on my kit also ... making just the sounds I wanted when scraped with my hotrod: just goes to show you once again, doesn't it? (see my review of the paint roller) ...

Fell apart after a while
Bought a couple of these to scrape excess rubber off a set of track tyres along with heatguns, me and my friend had one each. His survived and mine lost the handle so a bit hit and miss.Extremely cheap though and not really made for our application so not marked down too harshly.

Does the job
Bit put off by some reviews but I only needed it for one room. Turns out it was very sturdy against stubborn doubleblayer wallpaper. Did the job. Will rust fast if you don't dry it.

Perfect
Just what I need for using on my griddle for cooking. I know they are for scraping paper but they are also fantastic for cooking anything on a flat griddle! Turns burgers perfectly, chops other meat and veg on the grill and scrapes the oil away perfectly!
