Fireman Sam - Friction Fire Engine with Sam Figure

I highly recommend this truck. I purchased the pack of five figurines to go with it. They are a bit smaller than the Fireman Sam included with this fire engine, which is perfect, because they fit a little easier inside. My grandson just slips the figurines through the front window, even though the doors do open. What i like best about this truck is the friction device. It makes a great noise. My grandson loves it. The truck seems pretty sturdy to me. I definitely recommend this truck rather than the smaller version without friction. I purchased a smaller one from a local store here in Belgium, but it is not as well built and putting the figurines inside is a challenge. So by all means, pay the higher price, buy this one because it is larger , and much better built!

My son plays with this all the time and it's very robust

My 2 year old son adores his Jupiter fire engine. Like all Fireman Sam merchandise, the quality is pretty poor. The doors, steering wheel and crane have broken off very early on. Overpriced for what you get.. Unless you price it on a "penny per play" basis! In which case, it's a bargain! Also, it's almost impossible to keep Fireman Sam in a seated / driving position on the seat inside - gravity does it's job and he ends up "lying down" across the front seats. There is nothing to connect the character in to place, like in other Fireman Sam accesories (eg. he can click in to position to drive the rescue boat standing up). This frustrates my 2 year old no end! (I suppose it would be a bit weird - as it would mean Fireman Sam having an actual hole in his 'bum' so click in to a a sticky up piece of plastic to be able to securely sit down! He has this on his foot but he can't stand up inside a fire engine!). Now I'm going to sit down and ponder what my life has come to... I know too much about a toy fire engine.

Grandson aged 2 loves it robust and excellent sounds

Bought it for a 3 year old child, was very happy with it.Quality wise, it's well built, doesn't feel cheap at all, looks much better than on the picture here. The size is also bigger than expected.The package is also great, this is genuine Fireman Sam Merchandise.Some people complain about the finnicky doors, and the figurine being difficult to cram inside the car. These complaints have merit to them, but are very minor, and caused only slight inconvenience to the child.A quality toy sure to bring joy to little Fireman Sam fanatics.

It's a good price but a little cheap quality the mirrors broke within the week and the doors are a bit flimsy. The tower hose is good fun and the figure is sturdy.

My son loves Fireman Sam and this is a great toy for him. He's 2 and is constantly playing with it, stealing my daughters dolls house and pretending to rescue people stuck in the roof with the ladder. It doesn't seem as tough as some other fire engine toys he has such as those from the Early Learning Centre but having said that it's survived being thrown down the stairs a few times, smashed into walls etc without any damage so can't really complain. It would be nice if the lights flashed or it had a siren for him, but then again, silence is golden!
