Does what it's supposed to, the blades provided are also very sharp so as with any straight razor, cut with care.Best value in a long time. Having come from using a Dovo a few years back I wanted to get another straight razor because I missed that nice, sharp shave a straight razor gives but didn’t want to spend the extra money on another Dovo. This came along and after reading the reviews I pulled the trigger and I was not disappointed. For the money it’s a great product! Not as balanced as something that might cost more but wow! Shaves great and for those people complaining about how thin the blades are… THATS JOW THIN STRAIGHT RAZOR BLADES ARE! If you’re looking to get into using a straight razor, highly recommend this product. You won’t be disappointed.

My barber uses a straight edge razor to shape up my beard and help me keep a nice clean look. After getting enough confidence I went ahead and bought this to try to do it myself at home. The razor comes in a nice box with a black sleeve to store it along with a box of 100 razors that are each individually wrapped. THE BLADES ARE VERY SHARP. After using it the first time I accidently cut myself just due to how sharp the blades are. Since I'm not using it often I used and was blade about 3 time before I replace it with a new one. Although the razor looks like its made of wood its not. and has a plastic feel to it but for the price I don't mind. I've been using it for over a month now and haven't cut myself since that first time. I love how precise I can be with it and how clean I look after using it. If your thinking about getting one to try for yourself I would go ahead and get it.

I've always wanted a straight razor but was always scared to try one on myself. After months of searching and researching I came across Cut Factor and honestly, this one did it for me. I get haircuts twice a month and they're costly these days, so I had to learn how to fend for myself so learning how to use a straight razor for crisp edges was really pivotal to the plan. Everything worked smoothly on the first go round and I honestly am a big fan of this product. Super grateful for them and the care they put into this product, it took the fear out of the experience for me.
