Vintage Crafts Genuine Men's Leather Messenger Laptop Briefcase Satchel Mens Bag

You cannot give this item anything more than one star, this isn't an emotive rating, just factual based on my experience.It isn't a premium price item, so you have to accept that the quality will be lower than significantly more expensive bags, but unfortunately this is substandard for the use it was designed for. The main issue being that the exterior zip at rear broke after only being used once. To complete a review of the rest of the bag: -Looks worse in the flesh (or leather) than photos, the two leather fastening straps and the carry strap are different colour leather to the main bag (and to each other). The metal buckles are quite flimsy - the metal isn't poor quality and the pin on each will spin round to be underneath (due to the amount of play in the flimsy design and build), making closing difficult if using the bag on the move (as I was - it was a business trip car/plane/bus passports in/out, paperwork in/out and so on) if the pin has dropped into the reverse position to where it should be.Overall, the thickness and robustness of the leather all over the bag is thin and flimsy feeling.Summary: Is cheap, looks cheap, designed and manufactured cheaply, it is a cheap bag that in comparison a supermarket plastic bag has a longer functional lifetime ahead of it. It proves that you can only cut costs so far in manufacture and design, after which the item isn't even viable and shouldn't be sold.

Pros: Attractive in appearance. good size. Cons: Quality poor.. shoulder strap distorted... buckle straps wider than the buckles through which they must pass... riveted and sewn OVER the polythene wrapping of the bronze parts meaning that there are wisps of polythene after very careful and meticulous attempts to remove polythene. Conclusion: Choose another.

Item arrived very efficiently next day. And I was very pleased with the quality of this satchel. Gorgeous tan leather and a very good sized bag Would highly recommend
