Very cheep for a very good DIY table saw.
I bought this as my joiner who were supposed carry out work for us, let us down. Didn't expect much, but i am very impressed with it. It was easy to assemble, no more than an hour, the instruction are realy clear to understand. The guide is very sturdy with no or little movement. The blade is very sharp and gives a great clean cut. As you can see by the photos. The extraction is very good, a decent vac will get most of the dust away. One let down is the miter guide. Its far too loose for any accurate cut, so will make a new slide guide for it.My advise, when cutting thin strips, make sure that the teeth are cutting down onto the wood, and not cutting towards you as the wood will fly out like an arrow behind you. As can be seen in the last photo. Its s grear little machine, plenty of power and very accurate for the price.

Excellent Value
Before I review some personal info. I'm 71 years old, though 20 to 30 years younger in my head. A keen and able diy'er. The saw arrived very quickly, 2 days. It took me 2 hours to put it together on my own. It is heavy but not excessively so. It is fiddly to put together, lots of nuts, bolts, washers and spring washers. You will need a couple of 10mm spanners or a socket and spanner which is what I used. The extension tables could be better designed, perhaps hinged with supports integral underneath to come out and fix to the saw when required, just a thought. Having said that they are again fiddly but not difficult to attach. Although a word of warning, when you take out the bolt on the leg to secure the extension arm, be aware the small plate the bolt screws into may drop out. You'll be snookered if you loose it. Fortunately mine dropped where I could see it!! That said what you get for the price is excellent its a serious piece of kit and well worth it.

Good For The Price
Don't be fooled by all the other similarly priced brands out there: take a quick look at the handles and you'll see they're all the same device, just different colours. I bought the cheapest. So, is it any good? Well, it takes a while to assemble. But once it's built it's pretty sturdy. I know others have complained that it doesn't fold, but I'll leave it assembled until I've done everything I need it for.+Stick a vacuum cleaner on the extraction (35mm) and it works well.+The blade cuts softwood, ply, MDF and hardboard with ease, you it you want a good finish you'll need a finer blade.+The ripping fence is ok most of the time - just don't put too much force on it.-The blade weaves as you wind it up to height - minor problem (may just be mine).-Thin material will wander under the ripping fence.-The mitre is awful - flimsy plastic and it snags in the T slot. Mitre angles are a big struggle.-The table itself is painted with a paint which grips. This, with the terrible mitre make it impossible to do cross cuts.-The riving knife is out of line with the blade, so wood snags at the back of the blade. I'm trying, but it's hard to bend it to the right alignment. So, for ripping skirting board it's fine, which is what I needed it for. And maybe bevels will come out ok. But for anything cross cut or mitred I would use a sliding mitre saw where possible.

A Workshop Friend
I was pleased with the delivery it arrived before the due date. The box was easy to handle and unpack. The instructions were clear and precise, mostly diagrams. the health and safety requirements are clear and easily followed. When it is completely assembled it is a sturdy unit and a very useful addition to my workshop. My last saw gave me good service but it was heavy and difficult to move about, this new ParkerBrand 10" is easy to move and with its clear metric rip fence measurement readout gives a very accurate cut. The blade up and down is also easy to use and accurate.I can't wait to get started on the next projects my wife thinks up for me...

Top value
Cuts very well, motor is powerful enough to do 85mm without stress. The fence is a bit wobbly, so I bolted a piece of aluminium angle at 90 degrees to the back of it that can be clamped to the table and stops it moving.Easy to assemble and light enough to move about.
