STARTRC Mavic Mini 2 Sun Hood Foldable Sunshade for DJI Mini 2/Air 2S/Mavic Air 2/Mavic Mini/Mavic 2/PRO/Mavic air/Spark Controller Accessories

I was pleasantly surprised by this item. Seems it is some sort of cardboard wrapped in a pleather type material. Works well, size is good. Extra cut outs to accommodate the mavic hand grips to stop any light leak. I paid £10 for this item and I'm very happy with that. The extra bulk actually makes it more comfortable to hold. The overall size makes it slightly awkward to thumb the gimbals but I adjusted my grip slightly and now it's good. My only down side is the branding. The top is embossed and couid have been a cool design or even just said mavic but instead has a part number and 'mavic 4.6-5.7'which I assume is the phone sizes that it accommodates. The inside is flocked and the back has suction pads to attach to your phone as extra security but it's not needed.Good product. 5*OEM DJI is £25 and this was £10

It's slightly flimsy and needs a bit of manipulating to fit and stay in place, but once in position it works well. Accessing certain touch screen functions is a little more difficult on a mini2. I also tried it on a Mavic2 and again there is some obstruction of the controls, but nothing that can't be managed. Worth it if screen glare is an issue for you, as it certainly improves the visible image on bright days making composition easier.

Compared to DJI's official item which cost £20 more, this sun hood is actually a bargain. The build quality is surprisingly well done with moulded silicon structure wrapped in a pleather skin. The structure is foldable and when erect is offers a pretty good size that is shaped to the mavic control whilst fully covering a large phone. This really helps prevent light leaks. In addition the hood is held together by a strong velcro and has a nice suction padding to keep the phone in place. I will say if you've never used a sun hood before it might take a while to fully set it up. With that said I honestly love this item. It was getting irritating not being able of see the screen while piloting and its an absolute necessity if you're going to pilot a drone. Overall if you want to save money i'd recommend this alternative.

A little to large and the holes are a little to small. My phone, Samsung S7 tends to fit badly into the Mavic anyway as the home key gets eaten by the mavic. With this on it is even harder to use. However as a sun screen it works well and it folds nice and small intot he case.

I bought this product to use with my Mavic air controller with my Samsung phone. the whole set up is extremely fiddly and not very sturdy. There are better sun hoods in the market.

Fits but is a bit thick, and doesn’t fit in the bag. It covers the sub, but as the remote controller is about fiddly with iPhone X - I

It dose what is suppose to i use a galaxy a20 its about 5mm each end to shork bit it still ok for my dji software

Slightly fiddly to set up, but I've found that unfolding & then slipping the phone in and finally fitting the phone on the controller as usual. The hood does improve visibility of the screen in direct sun, but then youalso get your face reflected in the screen, so a face shade (cap, etc) is also needed (hence only 4-stars).

Très bon pare soleil. Efficace. Assez facile à installer. La surface sur laquelle est posé le téléphone a des ventouses qui le stabilisent bien. Seule petite difficulté la connexion du câble lightning à l'IPhone, mais cette difficulté existe même sans le pare soleil, rien de grave.

El artículo está bien, en términos generales. Lo único que está más orientado a móviles, con pocas pulgadas o poco tamaño. A mi me corta un poco de la pantalla, aunque nada excesivamente grabe. Móvil moto z play.
