This product replaced an older fan of far less quality. I had it installed by an electrician to maximize the benefits that this fan provides. It was a very good choice ! It is a very quiet and smooth running fan that can be controlled by the remote to provide a wide variety of effects. One of my best purchases!

I am so upset as in most situations like this you just have to live with it. We just remodeled our new house and got these fans for the bedroom. The humming noise at all speeds is terrible but we threw away the box and already paid for the electrician to put it up. Very disappointed

I replaced my 30 year old Hunter fans and light kits with these new ones after I enclosed my porch. They are so much quieter and more efficient at moving the air around that I have not had turn to the maximum setting yet. The the fact that they are so easy to control, including reversing directions , was just a bonus. Since my original order, I liked them so much that I ordered enough to replace every one of the fans in my home-6 more.

Two of these fans were purchased for two separate bedrooms during the remodeling of an older house. We were told if we wanted to operate the fan and lights separately in these bedrooms, we needed to buy fans with remote controls due to the electric wiring in these rooms. This fan met our criteria of being a Hunter, white, and having a remote control. At the present time, I can not comment on the operation of the fan on a daily basis as we have not used them daily yet. I can say, it is a very large fan. The fans were professionally installed, so we didn't see the fans until they were assembled and hanging from the center of the ceiling. I am sure they will meet our needs, but the actual size of the "body" of each fan was surprising and disappointing. Hopefully, when the rooms are filled with furniture, the fans will blend in and be less noticeable.

I like this fan. Installed by me and fairly easy. Does not provide a whole lot of light and isn't the most quiet, but like the look, price and remote. Hunters are always reliable. Bought one and then bought another. Nice glass globe (not plastic).

I bought 5 of these fans. The installation is easy, the smart setup if a disaster especially if you have several of them. You can’t have other fans one when doing the smart setup. After it has been setup, be prepared for it to stop responding on a regular basis. You’ll have to kill the power to the fan and redo the setup to get it to respond again. It’s really a terrible piece of technology. Don’t buy it. There are better smart fans or better yet, smart switches that will do the job much better than this will. Additionally, be prepared for Amazon to provide terrible service when you want a refund or to return it. I got passed around to 9 people over a period of two hours in a chat. No one would even provide any help, they would just say they need to pass me to someone else that can help. In the end they provided no help. I complained about the fans several times before the return period was up, but as soon as the period had passed they were quick to tell me I should’ve said something before the return period was up. In short. AVOID THIS FAN! It sucks!
