Great tablet with a small price
This tablet is great value for money and just the right size. It is also still a fast tablet after the 6 months I have had it for. Huawei are starting to provide some great products which look good and perform well. The touch screen has no backlight bleed and i always responsive, I wasn't sure if i would like this tablet as i thought it might be like some of the other cheap ones which are pretty horrible really.I have no complaints about this tablet though and it is up there with some of the best android tablets I have ever used. The packaging was good and it is finished like a more premium and quality item. I can honestly say I have no real complaints about this T1.

Excellent, but not perfect.
This tablet is another reminder that, huawei is a force to be reckoned with in technology. It has a solid design and a steel back, I wouldn't drop mine on purpose but am quite sure it could survive a few falls. It is quite easy to set up and has high speed browsing capability. The downside to this tablet is its battery, the purpose of a tablet is to be able to be mobile with your soft documents, music etc. But this becomes difficult when your tablet is always connected to the Ac outlet. It is a commendable tablet despite this flaw. No tablet is 100% in function and performance.

Bright Clear Screen
This tablet is very well made. It has a bright clear screen which reacts positively to touch. It is easy to use, I'm seventy three years of age and I set up all the aps I needed in just a few minutes. I have set up Netflix and iplayer the picture quality and sound is excellent. Well made product good value for money. I am very happy with my purchase.

Be carefull
In comparison with my now dying Samsung Tab 3 (my fault I feel) this tablet falls short in several departments. I was really suffering ‘cold turkey’ with the absence of a Tablet that I just saw the three 5 star ratings and went for it, not the most sensible way to make a purchase, however the deed is done and I have to live with it until I get something better. Don’t get me wrong this machine feels and looks the part.Pros• Very sturdy build• The battery is good marginally better than the Samsung• Some good apps preinstalled• Doesn't get anywhere near as warm as any of the other seven devices here• I am struggling now so on to ConsCons• Not as a stated Jelly Bean 4.3, looks more like KitKat and it is 4.4.4 but come on they went out with the Ark and it shows on icons, very basic• When first booted I thought I had a dud the display was so dull• After making the adjustment, full brightness it is about half that of my Samsung Tab and my Phone• Ok for indoors but forget using it outdoors• No physical ‘back’ or ‘home’ button so with apps that display them you have just over a 7 and a half inch screen• Initially I was unable to download a game I had come to like ‘your device is not compatible’• Ok I did get round this• As for speed and power no discernible difference and a 1A maximum charge, oh dear.Aha, whilst carrying out one final comparison with my old standby Moto G with both on email I can better describe the display quality as light grey a bit like holding two sheets of paper together, one poor quality the other superior. On games etc it isn’t as noticeable but still duller

Amazing!
This is an excellent product. Highly responsive, lightening fast. The camera quality is very good with a useful zoom function and flash capabilities. The photo editing software is also very good and fast. Although some 'apps' on the Google Play store say they may not be optimized for the device I have yet to find one that doesn't work. The sound is also good for such a small device. So far can't find anything negative to say about this tablet.

Disappointing
Looks amazing and good sound and graphics for the price. After under two months started playing up by switching off for no reason. For several weeks with increasing frequency kept switching itself off despite full battery. I kept waking up as it kept switching all my white noise aps off in the middle of the night. Plug supplier always got very hot.I was going to get another of the same as I thought perhaps I had a faulty one. Yesterday I read the reviews and realise it has happened to other people's devices also.

HUAWEI MediaPad T1 8.00 Pro Tablet
I am so pleased with this purchase! I had another tablet - one with a bigger 'name' on it and it was truly unbearable. I use a tablet mostly for audio books and music. I like to have the option to browse the net, play games, read and all the other things, but I could barely do the audio books an music on the old one. After researching a selection of tablets on Amazon I decided to try this.It is great! More power, more speed and I can do everything on it - including programs I had to uninstall (or more often disable due to the unwanted apps pre-installed) on the old tablet.Like all different brands, it has a couple of quirks to get used to - not problems, just different ways of doing things. Now I am used to those, I can enjoy all the things I want to on it. It has great, reliable bluetooth, sturdy wi-fi connectivity, an efficient power management system, which alerts you when power hogs are ... well... hogging power. Graphics are great. Top buy!I would definitely recommend it.

Not much use unless connected to wifi
I purchased this after reading some good reviews. After just under a year the tablet has started reverting to previous browser searches, and messages for various apps have appeared stating that my device is no longer supported....The most annoying feature is the fact that despite having the recommended android version, it does not support Netflix downloads and cannot be updated to do so, acording to Huawei technical support. Also my downloaded Kindle books, disappear from the memory regularly and I have to redownload them. You are better off buying a chocolate teapot as it is probably more use unless you only needa device for using in wifi zones. Screen quality is good, but to what end?
