LGA Selectric BS1362 3 Amp Fuses Pack of 10 loose fuse links

What can I say, they work. Ideal for appliances such as table lamps which require a low amp fuse. Also I was pleased to order a pack containing just 3 amps. Usually I've only been able to buy the mixed packs which is a pain when I use less of the others. Worth it for the price..

I've a load of spare 13 amp fuses from various appliances but no spare 3 amp fuses. It's great to be able to buy 10 fuses for 12p each including postage. Mine came in a little plastic bag rather than the shrink wrapped package as shown in the picture but who cares about that? I certainly don't - they are just fuses after all. Great value.

The kind of thing you never think to buy until you need them and that's usually after the shops have closed. Handy to kerp spares in the house in advance of the time you'll need them. These are typically fitted in reading lamps and other low current devices and should not be replaced with higher rated fuses. Buy some before you need them, you won't regret it.

It`s difficult to get excited by 3 amp fuses but they do the job. the packaging wasn`t very good as they were loose in a flimsy piece of plastic within an ordinary brown envelope. I was expecting them to be on a stiff card with strong plastic covering. The photo on the site was extremely misleading.i have contacted the seller about the poor packing & we came to an amicable agreement so I`d use them again.I have since bought more fuses from this company & they now put them in little plastic bags with a seal that can be re-sealed, much more secure. Well done to the seller for making note of customer comments. Good company,

Just after ordering these I saw a news report about the discovery of counterfeit fuses. This set me wondering how I might test an item where the technical bit is hidden from view. Is the wire inside really thin enough or is it a rusty nail? I tried putting one of these 3A fuses in the plug of an electric kettle. And it blew within a fraction of a second, as it should have. So I can say these fuses do what they are supposed to do.

As you'd expect, they were also in the packet, they fit a uk plug and they mean devices work again after the fuse has gone. They're not delightful, but their as delightful as a fuse can get. I'd buy them again. If I needed more 3a fuses. But I wouldn't go out and buy another packet for decoration like my friend Tina did.

I am disabled so buying replacement fuses on the Internet is ideal. I have not needed to use one of these yet but I am sure that they will suffice. Nothing more to say!
