La RicheDirections Semi-Permanent Hair Colour Dye x2 Pack-Lagoon Blue (dir)

Lasts around 6-8 weeks before needing touch up.
Beautiful colour, gives a nice healthy condition to hair after use. Colour lasts around 6-8 weeks before needing redoing (washing hair two or 3 times a week) . You will need to bleach your hair first if you have medium brown - dark hair. Colour is vibrant. This is my second use of the Tangerine. Other Directions colours are just as vibrant andong lasting.

Amazing shade of blue
This dye is very nice and the colour is accurate to the image. However, it is not semi permanent, it is been in my hair for 5 months and the colour is still vibrant, for that I gave it less stars, beacuase it is not suitable if you want to change a coulour every couple of months.

Amazing...if you follow my instructions
1st photo shows the colour I start with ie my usual hair Colour LIVE vibrant violet.2nd photo is just after Iβve used these vibrant PINK and CERISE pots.3rd photo Iβve increased the exposure so you can see the true colour under bright lights. I purchased two of these fab pots, one in cerise and one in flamingo pink . I wanted a maintenance product to use to revive the colour and blend the roots between my monthly full head permanent colour.First time I used these colours was two weeks after my permanent colour and I had a good amount of grey roots with a very wish washy faded burgundy/amber colour on the ends . I followed the instructions to the letter and after rinsing off, most of the colours went down the plug hole, leaving me with neon pink roots and not much elsewhere! So after a few more attempts I found the solution. To get the best from these pots, use on DRY hair.DO NOT apply using fingers. Put disposable gloves on, dip the bristles of an old toothbrush/mascara wand Into the pot. With a generously loaded brush, comb it through your hair from root to tip, making sure that the creme is THICKLY coating the hair shaft. Repeat all over your head, with as many colours as you like! It is soooooooo easy and you can get the colour right up to the roots without MAKING CONTACT WITH SCALP AND SKIN with ease.DO NOT RINSE it off. Either dry it off with a cool hairdryer or leave it to dry naturally.Rinse out the following day or if you applied in the morning, rinse out in the evening.THATS IT! The colour stays true and bright for at least three washes. Not only will this method give you a MUCH better colour, it eliminates a nasty clean up and stained skin.My routine now is to brush through a small amount of product every 2/3 days in the mornings after my shower. I will either give it a quick blast with cool hairdryer or brush it into a high ponytail and leave it on for the rest of the day. Iβve had SO many comments about the lovely colour and no one has realised that most days Ive literally just done a quick touch up straight out the pot lol. I carry the pot in my handbag and often do a little touch up throughout the day if I notice a few stray demon greysπ

Ribena
Lovely colour. I've put it over a medium gingery red shade and it's evened it all out and made it look so healthy. Lots of colour runs out during the rinsing stage and looks like a massacre but it comes off the bath thankfully. Also coloured human hair extensions. One pot seems to go a long way. Happy days. Looks like I have ribena hair. perfect.

Not as bright on the hair as it is in the pot
It's a very pretty colour but nowhere near as vibrant as the images depict. I have grey hair so I was expecting it to be as deep pink as advertised. That said, it was a very pretty colour, didnt last as long as the blues that I have bought from this range before, and I had to use 2 pots for my shoulder length hair.Perfect for those that only want a very temporary colour though

Ace vibrant colours but ...
I'm a sucker for this colour and Atlantic blue which I mix together for my awesome hair colour. As for strength of colour - it's well worth preligtening hair of you want a strong vibrant colour. I always do and I leave it in for longer than is recommended but I find it holds better.Length of colour - it's a semi permanent dye you can expect it to wash out immediately and my colour does BUT it will last longer if you use correct shampoos and colder water making it last a month before it drastically needs doing again - note at this point roots are obvious!Thickness and ease - dead simple I can even do it on myself. The main issue in have is that my hair is a good few inches past my shoulders and is stupidly thick!Amount per pot - for me personally it's no where near enough! I have to use 2x green and 2x blue for an overall touch up and 1x each for a root touch up making it expensive to keep up. I've had my colour for two years and I'm still lot going it up! Having said this I've dyed my friends hair red and she only needed one pot and her hair is slightly shorter than mine. So it totally depends on your own hair thickness and section or full head coverage.Bonus- its vegan friendly!Do note though and this is why it's a four star review and not five. Lately Directions (La Riche) have changed something into their ingredients and it is not sticking to hair as well as previously. I could just be I've been unlucky with one batch but didn't be aware of this!
