Drionic Wireless Hand/Foot Devices

Full disclosure - i have not been diagnosed with hyperhidrosis, but purchased this because I get ridiculously sweaty hands and feet when I work out. I sweat profusely pretty much everywhere. For most activities, this is okay, but if you do pole fitness or most other aerial arts, having a proper and secure hand grip is a MUST.Before the drionic, I pretty much exhausted all of my options. I tried every grip aid around - dry hands, prince grip, rock climbers liquid chalk, tite grip, poletice, girly grip. you name it, i have tried it. They all worked to some degree, but required constant reapplication because nothing stopped the sweat. I more recently moved on to a variety of aluminum-based antiperspirants like zero sweat, sweat block and carpe. Same issues - they just didn't stop the sweat when I got on the pole (granted, none of these were meant for heavy exercising activity, at least they weren't marketed that way).A friend of mine has been using her drionic for several years and insisted I buy one. Considering how much I had already spent on grip aids, and that I really didn't want to do botox, I took the plunge finally. My initial hesitation was this is a medical device and I never went to get diagnosed if I should do this.All I can say is I am an idiot for not having done this sooner.When the drionic arrived, unfortunately one of them was broken. I contacted the seller (General Medical Company) and Thom got back to me super quick. Not only that, he was beyond helpful and nice in getting me a brand new drionic asap. His help was phenomenal and I love that GMC are not a massive corporation, but people who have been in this field many years and really love this product. Thanks so much Thom!Ok - back to the product - When the new device arrived, I read the instructions and got to zapping myself. The information is clear and concise (make sure you read the pamphlet!). You can turn the wells to either have your palm or your fingers submerged in the deeper well. After talking with my friend, I had my fingers submerged and my palms on the upper pads. It was more comfortable this way (your hands will get treated no matter which is submerged). I ended up doing 14 days of treatment instead of just 12. You go for 30 minutes a day at the highest setting you can tolerate (felt like pins and needles - i put vaseline as instructed on any areas that were super sensitive or had cuts on them). Usually by 6 hours of treatment, you are good to go, but I went a little longer for safe measure.During the treatment, I definitely noticed an uptick in sweat for a few days, but this was to be expected, so I didn't panic. After the treatment, the first couple of days were an adjustment. I would be working on the pole, and my hands and fingers started to swell up. It was the craziest feeling - like when you have too much salt and bloat up. I was still sweating, but not remotely as much as I had before, and my skin couldn't sweat it out through my hands as normal.This only lasted maybe two or three days. After this initial swelling, it was like my poling had changed completely.For about 1.5 weeks, I didn't touch any grip aids - just used alcohol to clean the pole and paper towels to dry my hands occasionally. After the 1.5 weeks, I did another 30-minute treatment when I noticed I was sweating a bit more heavily in class - not even close to where I was before (you are supposed to maintain weekly or so treatments to keep the results going). After I did the treatment and went to class, I was back to being able to grip the pole like non-sweaty people do.As a result of the drionic, I am ridiculously sore because I am FINALLY gripping the pole properly. My muscles are working the way they should have been for years, rather than fighting slipping down the pole and pulling various muscles in my arms.Do I still sweat? Yes. but it is normal sweating. the kind that doesn't require applying grip aid upon grip aid upon grip aid. The kind of sweating that a quick dry off with a paper towel handles.One important note - I started zapping myself in the winter, when the temps fluctuate between freezing and mild, humidity goes up and down, the studio runs hot, cold, dry, sweaty... pretty much every environmental experience ever. I am very curious to see how this holds up in the other times of the year, but I am hopeful!Would I recommend this to other polers? yes, but make sure you are really super sweaty and all other avenues have failed in terms of grip aids, grip strengthening, etc. I am NOT a doctor and even though you don't need a prescription for this, use common sense to know if this is right for you.btw - the drionic works for feet as well, but I have yet to try it out. I may do this eventually and will post a review if I do.

I wanted to wait before I submitted a review about this product since I wanted to be truthful. I honestly couldn't be any happier. My hands and feet used to sweat profusely, it would make me insecure and I would always be nervous. I must admit that using the Drionic has made me so much more confident and happy.I bought this product and used it every day for about 20 days, 30 minutes sessions in my hands and feet each. After that, I have been using it twice a week. It has made my hands more dry, but its totally worth it. Whenever I sweat, it is not too much, and it's okay! I know it might seem like an exaggeration, but this product has changed my life!The only bad thing about the machine is that it is battery operated, which you will have to get through the Drionic website. However, I think it's worth the investment!** Give the Drionic a try, it has the lowest price in the market, and you can see results relatively fast!!

This was the second set we have bought. The first set we bought years ago and it worked really well. The second set caused a burning sensation. So much so that my wife was unable to use it. The company's return policy excluded us from returning it and expecting a refund. The company also told us that there device was unlikely to cause the sensation, however, it caused my wife pain and when she asked me to try it, I felt the same sensation even though I don't suffer from hyperhidrosis. Too bad, they used to make a decent product.

It does exactly what it claims and stopped my hands from sweating. It worked in 2 weeks. I got it on a Wednesday and by the second Wednesday of 1/2 hour everyday treatment it had worked.I am a pole dancer that was accepted into a major competition in March. The comp. is in June so I'm doing everything I can to prepare. One of the things I decided to do was figure out the best way to stop my hands from sweating. There are grip aids and gloves on the market. The grip aid is my best bet but only lasts at the most one song. And for me not even one song on some poles. When even a grip maker recommended iontophoresis I knew I needed to find a way to get a hold of one of these products.There are a few on the market but this one is the only one that doesn't require a prescription. They asked for one when I placed the order. In a panic I called Drionic itself to plead my case. I explained that I didn't have a regular physician and that if I had to get a prescription I might not be able to get what I needed in time to train and feel confident on comp night. I said if I can just get 10 minutes of dryness with the machine and grip aid combination I will be so happy. If you feel like you're slipping you are and no where do you feel it more than in your hands when you are upside-down with nothing but them on the pole. This was on a Monday, I received my product on Wednesday.Two weeks later on that Wednesday I noticed though my entire body was sweating (because I was driving around in over 80 weather with my windows down instead of the a/c on) my hands were dry. If ever a time there would be sweat it would be then.The way my hands feel on the poles is totally different now. I used to touch the poles and think the pole was slimy knowing it was probably my hands.Any pole could give me that feeling, brass, even powder coated had betrayed me once. I've been on chrome, steel, and powder coated after treatment. Now when I wash my hands, clean off the pole and go to do one of the hands only moves they feel like they are sticking. Because for once they really are.

This really works. Have been using this device for years

unfortunately, this product did not work for me. I purchased well in advance of my wedding day, hoping it would clear up sweaty palm issues during key moments of the wedding. I "zapped' myself for months hoping it will be a gradual change. No such luck and now I'm stuck with aching hands and $200+ device.

Ero molto scettico su questo prodotto perché in vent'anni ho provato di tutto contro l'iperidrosi: dai saponi allo zinco agli spray fino alle creme inibitorie. Nulla ha mai funzionato. Drionic invece si è rivelato un prodotto efficace. Quasi non riesco a crederci. Finalmente ho le mani libere al 90% dall'eccessiva sudorazione. Ho notato un netto miglioramento già dopo 4 ore di utilizzo. Non ho messo 5 stelle per via delle batterie. Non trovo corretto che il cliente sia obbligato ad acquistare per forza quelle del produttore, a prezzi tutt'altro che convenienti.Comunque il prodotto Drionic è valido e lo consiglio vivamente. Il mio caso di iperidrosi era piuttosto grave, quindi il macchinario è davvero affidabile. Spedizione veloce e puntuale.

Purtroppo non ho subito alcun effetto benefico dopo un uso abbastanza prolungato!

Se ci fossero più stelle le metterei! Arrivato stamattina, fatto il primo trattamento di mezz'ora nel pomeriggio a mia figlia di 14 anni, sia alle mani che ai piedi. Dopo un po' era sorpresa nel vedere le mani asciutte! Nelle istruzioni c'è scritto che per vedere risultati consigliano di effettuare almeno 7 ore di trattamento complessivo, e di sospenderlo appena si nota di non sudare più, il miglioramento non sarà graduale ma improvviso. Beh, a mia figlia non so per quale motivo è bastata mezz'ora alle mani e mezz'ora ai piedi, non so come mai ma non le sudano più nemmeno le ascelle!Ha fatto la prova, ha suonato al piano un brano che la innervosiva parecchio e perciò prima sudava tantissimo scivolando sui tasti scatenando una reazione a catena. Beh, è riuscita a suonare l'intero brano e dovevate vedere la sua faccia quando lentamente si è girata mostrandomi i palmi delle mani, mi sono commossa.Sicuramente riuscirà finalmente anche a mettere i sandali in estate senza scivolare.Continueremo comunque il trattamento per alcuni giorni, non si sa mai...Non mancherò di ringraziare il mio dermatologo che ci ha consigliato questo apparecchio e di questa precisa marca.Ci ha cambiato la vita. Spero che questa recensione possa aiutare altre persone con questo disagio.
