100% would recommend
I really enjoyed this. I didn’t think I’d like this as much as I did since I don’t like second chance romance novels. But the way this relationship was written was beautiful. Chloe Liese showcased how easy it was for people who loved each other to push each other away for the sake of love. How easy it to love someone so much you begin to hide parts of yourself you want to save them from only to end up pushing them away. The familial relationships between the Bergmans really shone in this. They came together so perfectly to help their sister and their brother in law find their way back together. Chloe really showed how special and how much they love each other.I enjoyed watching them fall in love with each other and learning to trust each other again. This would be a five star read if didn’t dislike the second chance romance trope. But damn if more people wrote them like Chloe Liese I’d love them.

A second chance to save their marriage
Freya and Aiden are married for the last ten years. Their relationship is facing new challenges while Aiden's work is keeping him very busy, Freya feels neglected which resulted in asking him to leave the house. In order to save their marriage they must both make step to reconnected and prioritize each other. They visit a counselor in order to rebuild their trust and learn from their mistakes. In the middle of it and also have to attend a family vacation where they keep their problems from Freya's parents, but not from her siblings who are very willing to help them by meddling. The book is very emotional. Aiden has an anxiety disorder that affects every moment of his life, while he is trying to be better and communicate about his feelings, his anxiety sometimes gets the better of him.Freya is ready to add to their family, she wants a baby but she feels alone and left out, her relationship isn't as it was, but she wants to keep fighting for her marriage and her love.I like how they both work together to come closer and reconnect once again by prioritizing their relationship even when things were difficult. The Bergmans are such a fun group, it was so fun to see them all together helping them and showing their love the best way they know how.*I received an ARC through Netgalley and this is my honest opinion.

A great Bergman addition
I love this family 😍 The Bergmans have once again made me laugh, cry, get mad and smile. This was my first taste of a marriage in crisis story and I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm a huge fan of seeing a relationship blossom from the start and seeing how it all pans out with some drama thrown in the mix so to read a book about a nearly 10 year marriage was definitely different. It took me a while to find my footing with this one purely because of the subject matter but once I got invested I couldn't put it down. Chloe as always does a brilliant job with handling sensitive subjects and it was great to read something that felt so real. There was plenty going on in this story with Aiden and his back story and the issues between him and Freya yet it all flowed nicely and I was never lost. Chloe really does a brilliant job of writing about mental health and other subjects that aren't as frequently written about. A great read and a fab addition to the series. I can't wait for the next one

Beautiful read
This book broke me. Wow!!If you're looking for a happy go lucky rom com. This book is not for you. This book is raw, beauty and courageous. This books explores marriage and shows the difficulties some marriages face! This shows us the good, the bad and the ugly! The Bergman brothers are back, bringing their funny pranks with them.I loved the vulnerability of these characters. Like the rest of Chloe Liese books, she shows us the power in vulnerability. Freya is such an amazing powerful character however she is completely "normal". She has her self esteem issues.Aiden has a lot his own issues. Chloe has an amazing writing ability that allows us to feel their sadness and empathise with the characters.

A cute, emotional read
his was an emotional ride. I haven't read the other books in the series and don't think it's a necessity to have done so (though it will probably be helpful in understanding the family dynamics - which I found a little confusing. The brothers characterisation all kind of blended to me as well). Aiden and Freya were very easy to root for and I found myself very invested in their relationship. A few tears were shed! I did find it a little overlong and the dialogue trite at times but overall it's a nice grown-up tale about keeping a relationship strong as opposed to most romance books that focus on the beginnings of a relationship. I'm intrigued to read the rest of the books in the series.

Fantastic marriage in crisis story
This was my 100th book 2020 of the year and what a smashing one it was! Will I ever be able to get enough of the Bergman family? I don’t think so. Each of these novels is truly an experience, and this one had a huge emphasis on anxiety. It was wonderful to see anxiety represented and I really connected with Aiden, I also think it’s fantastic that we have MEN WITH ANXIETY represented. Chloe also normalises therapy, Combats social stereotypes and puts out strong messages relating to love and marriage in this novel. Really enjoyable and I can’t wait for the next installation!
