Fender quality and reliability.
Bought these strap locks for my Fender Jazz Bass. They look great and work a treat. The strap section is held on with a large washer and a nut. I bought an extra strap so I could leave these on permanently.Very happy with these strap locks.

Leo would approved of these!
These are a set of guitar straplocks, whereby 4 tiny metal ball bearings protrude from the stem on the strap-side, lock into the button that's bolted on the body, making these bulkier than D'Addarios.Edited to add: Having used these for a few days, I can't say how well they will hold up in the long run, but these have turned out to be sturdier than I had anticipated so far. I might actually buy another set of these if I get another guitar from the same stable.

Very positive lock
Nice product. Very positive locking and don’t need fingers like a vice to squeeze the lock/unlock button. Fitted 3 sets in 15 minutes, ordering 4 more for the rest of the guitars now I’ve seen them and assessed the quality.Update:after a few days one has started popping out and dumped my expensive guitar on the floor several times. They are going back.

Brilliant Strap Locks
I usually use Jim Dunlop strap locks but as I had purchased a Fender, I decided to get a matching set 👉 great decision!I love the way they fit to both the guitar (thicker, longer screws - so more security and grip) and the strap (nut and washer, rather than awkward spring clips).Highly recommended for a Fender guitar/bass owner.

A simple, budget-friendly solution that works well
IN A NUTSHELL: Yes, get them. They're a simple, unobtrusive and very cost-effective way of stopping your strap parting company. In fact, unless you're regularly thrashing around on stage with a guitar that cost a four-figure sum, you probably won't ever need any other strap locking device.IN DETAIL: Strap Locks are an important item for a guitarist/bassist to consider (essential in the case of those that actively gig), yet the choice is far from clear. Several options exist for mechanisms that replace the instrument's standard strap button, but consensus on which is the most effective and worth investing in does not. For some time now, some players have spoken of the little rubber washers found on large Grolsch bottles as a cheap-but-effective alternative. Apparently Fender knew of it, too, since they've now made their own versions specifically for 'blocking' instrument straps. I've seen some people say that these Fender ones are a rip-off, since you can get a similar thing 'free' from a couple of large Grolsch bottles. I like beer as much as the next guy, but if you can get two big bottles for £2.99, then you live next to the world's best off-license. For most people, these Fender ones will set you back less when all is said and done. Moreover, you get four to a pack so we're actually talking four bottles-worth here.Big question then; do they work? Yes, absolutely. It takes a bit of effort to fit them on, which is good - it indicates the kind of force necessary for them to come off again. Note that they're called strap BLOCKS rather than LOCKS - this isn't a device that can outright lock your strap against the instrument. Rather, what it does is add a lot of resistance to any movement of the strap off the button. If, like me, you're still at the stage of jamming on your room with a budget instrument then I can confidently tell you that these strap blocks, for an outlay of three pounds, will be all you need; they'll prevent the strap popping off at one end. If you were a regularly gigging musician with a more expensive axe to protect...? That's partly a personal judgement as to what you feel secure with. But these would certainly serve as a stop-gap until you settled on a locking device, at the very least. Being very unobtrusive (well, the black ones at least)they'd also be a good choice for those who don't want the aesthetic clutter of a strap lock extending off their instrument.All-in-all, I think Fender have made a valuable addition to the guitar-care market with these and, for the price, they're worth adding to everyone's gig bag.

Fender Gold Strap Locks Set.
I invested in the Fender strap lock set in Gold to match all the gold finishing on my Les Paul. They go really well with the custom made gold parts this guitar is definitely the jewel in the crown of the collection and these Fender Gold strap locks give it more detail.Very hard wearing robust easy to install and even more easy to remove the strap if you take your straps off after each practice. These definitely are better than the standard strap holders.
