A fearfully brave lion
A classic tale of perception and fear, how they relate and how they can both be overcome. Great to see a bi-lingual addition.

A Reflection.
The Lion Who Saw Himself In The Water. This charming tale - possible to overlook or to consign to the purview of two to seven year olds - is for all ages.A butterfly whispers in the ear of a thirsty lion while the other animals in the jungle look on. The lion sees that what is frightening him, is merely a reflection and a reflection of himself at that. One may wonder about mirrors and reflections and the symbolism of butterflies but if you are five years old, you will fall in love with this tale, the colours and the drawings and that will be enough.

An ancient tale that provides entertainment and inner nourishment.
This lovely story about Share the Lion and his jungle pals is beautifully illustrated. The forest vibrates with colour from the tiniest mouse and butterfly to huge elephants and, of course, Share himself. The lion becomes very, very thirsty but when he pauses to drink from a mirror like pool what does he see - another fierce lion staring back at him? Finally driven to desperation Share plunges his head into the water and, of course, the other lion - who had never been there at all - vanishes! This ancient tale is well worth remembering whenever one encounters events that give rise to fear and trepidation. It could provide a useful tool to examine pre-conceived ideas that may, indeed, be irrational.
