Yes, you could make these yourself much cheaper, but it's the convenience ... and that they taste good
Five stars?! Yes, yes, it would astonishingly cheaper to make these yourself and, time aside, wouldn't be that much trouble. The trouble is that time is the trouble for many of us. Mix a pack with six grated carrots, perhaps some halved cherry tomatoes, and a little vinaigrette and you've got a hearty and tasty salad in not much more that the time it took you to grate some carrots. Or serve with fried halloumi. Looking to make a vegetarian version of a meat dish and worried it'll be "thin"? I've done vegetarian moussaka and a bolognese with these and they add that mouth-filling feeling to the dish that's lost when you take away the meat. Finally, want something easy to take to work to eat at your desk for lunch? Take a pack of these lentils. Just don't bother putting half the pack back in the fridge for tomorrow's lunch as someone will steal them ... seriously, I put the remainder of the pack (sealed) in the fridge and they were gone the next day. I'm just desperate to tell whoever took them that I'd eaten straight out of the pack.

Food for Thought
I was disappointed when our local supermarket stoped stocking this product. When I found them on Amazon Grocery I was very pleased. The package was in great condition when it arrived and the products had a good shelf life. I will be repeating this order regularly.

Was recommended by a friend, and it is the tastiest of all MG I have tried so far.. Now they sell it in my local Sainsbury's :)

Very nice but a tad on the salty side
Like them enough although a little bit on the salty side but fine if mixed with rice or some other grain. Would recommend as a tasty accompaniment with other grain and/or as a last minute addition to some meat casserole, if you eat meat.

Can't be eaten on its own
The product in itself is nice and of good quality, if it wasn't for its salt content I would have given it 4 stars. There are over 3g of salt per pouches (250g) and you can feel it with every month full. A shame as it has excellent fibre and protein content and 100% plant based. Ideal for someone on a low GI diet.
