Saves so much time. Tastes delicious.
Been grilling chicken, burgers, fish, vegetabless ... all tastes delicious. I'm a grilling machine. 7 minutes for chicken breast is incredible. Add 3 minutes if frozen. So much quicker than oven cooking. Now you can have a full on tasty high protein healthy meal in almost the same time as an unhealthy cardboard tasting microwave meal. Amazing. No temp control. You don't need one. Easy to use. Easy to clean (hot water and a sponge). My diet just got much healthier and tastier, and my time wasted cooking is now a fraction of what it was. One happy high protein bunny. I wonder if you can grill bunnies? ...

Smaller than expected, but great grill.
As many others have pointed out, the size is smaller than you expect - the five portion one will just fit four moderate sized burgers. So far, I have had no problems in cleaning it (while still hot) using kitchen towels. The fat collection tray is best emptied while still hot (very carefully) and then washed up in soapy hot water. The burgers cooked great, but thick sausages were a little under cooked - next time i may butterfly the sausages or perhaps increase cooking time a little. The lid is floating to cater for different thicknesses, and some have said this is flimsy. Ok it moves a little, but seems to be well built.

Its an okay product but burns the chicken and meat
Good product, only thing is i find it really jard to make chicken on it bc it burns the outside while the inside is raw and uncooked. It does a nice job of frozen burgers as you can imagine it doesn't burn as fast. Really takes alot of oil and fat out of your food which you never realised would be there. Other than not being able to control the temperature at all, its a good product. I use it now mainly for toasties, grilling my veg and to toaste wraps. Not tried meat products again since its not worked for me in the past. Easy to clean when warm with a wet sponge, cleans nice and the drip tray is good too.

Decent grill!
Nice grill, I wanted an electric grill for just a few months. I ended up buying this grill. The grill plate is of decent size, can fit 3 - 4 burgers, 1 - 2 fillets based upon size. Received just today, I will update the review in few weeks. No temperature control, grills are always messy to clean. Definitely very easy to use.

Everything you would expect from a >£50 RRP George Foreman but for half the price!!
Doubt you could even get a cheap equivalent this size for that price and it's a quality non-stick, easy clean surface. It also arrived early and my sister loves it (birthday present).Noticed a Silvercrest one similar in Lidl and that was retailing for just over £35 and having had one myself I can assure you that the non stick coating didn't last 3 months.I'd buy one again in a heartbeat, especially for £24.30 including delivery - superb job seller!!

Best "gadget" I've bought for the kitchen
This product is is amazing. I can get 4 rib eye steaks on there if I squish them up a bit for a family of four. And for a quick tea I can put the steaks on. Microwave some rice or pasta to go with it and bobs your uncle. It's done all in about 5 -10 minutes. I've done salmon, lamb and beef steaks and grilled veg. The sear gives a bbq smokiness and the meat is really juicy. Kids use it to make ham and cheese toasties too. All round winner.

GOOD BRAND – BUT A FEW CRITICISMS
We needed to replace a previous George Foreman grill we have had for many years so decided on this model. It looks and feels the level of quality we have come to expect from this brand and we have made Panini’s and toasted sandwiches on it and it performs well as expected. The lid feels a bit too flexible although it adapts well to any thickness of Panini and overall the lid works fine but I hope the hinged mechanism of this new model doesn’t cause any long term problems. The non-stick grill plates are so easy to wipe clean and the drip tray fits snugly under the front so I like that. I noticed that this new model heats up much quicker than our old model and it has the same RED and GREEN indicator lights on the lid to show when it is ready to use – changing from RED to GREEN when hot enough. My two criticisms would be that it is described as a 5 Portion grill – it is not a problem for my wife and myself but it doesn’t look like it would accommodate 5 decent sized portions of chicken breast or burgers. And the heat generated on the lid when it is being used shocked me – it really does feel much hotter to touch than our older model – and I am talking about hot – not just overly warm – it becomes hot so I am careful now when using it.Apart from those important criticisms the new grill works well and will hopefully last as many years as our previous one.

George Foreman 23420 5-Portion grill
We liked that it was a George Foreman grill. That’s what we bought it for. We had a previous on in the United States and loved it and now that we’re on a mission for our Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and living in Germany, we wanted another. This one was the right size, but DID NOT have removable grill plates. Cleaning it was a real pain, a major disaster. After grilling twice, we sent it back. Amazon was kind enough to pay for the shipping both ways. That’s one of the things we like Amazon about Amazon. The other problem was that the times for grilling in the manual were too long and grilled too dark for our tastes. We do better when we learn by trial and error what our best times are. We ordered another George Foreman after this one and that one has been perfect.
