As far as dysfunctional families go, these are hard to beat. In-fighting for over a thousand years, the core members seem indestructible. He is even more intense now father to baby Hope. She may prove the most formidable of them all because of powers inherited. Many thus want her and her dad out of action. (He is allegedly immortal but at least can surely be rendered inoperative - confined to a box or whatever.)Yes, 22 more episodes of a family in serious disarray - they all with gleaming white teeth and souls that are black. Enjoyment depends on how much one cares about them. To be honest, I thought them a horrible lot - it rather tedious when those killed simply come back again (sometimes in a different body, which confuses).Although from "Buffy" onwards, I have enjoyed many such offerings, "The Originals" seems to lack an essential ingredient - humour. Other shows contain much that is violent and bloody, but a lot is very tongue-in-cheek and occasionally very funny. This includes "The Vampire Diaries". Arguably "The Originals", its spin-off, takes itself too seriously.Bonuses include questions and answers at the 2014 Comic-Con (fans screeching with joy), illuminating features about the aims of the show and how storylines develop. Key members of the cast discuss their roles.Although some may feel the show already repetitive, it has certainly captured the imagination of fans. For them this is compulsive viewing - long may the Mikaelsons feud and maim!

love the series seen it on t.v so decided to buy the whole lot on dvd if you love vampire films you will really enjoy these the blur ray quality is fantastic and i got next day

I love the fact that I can by the originals on dvd the complete season because I can watch it . Even though it is off Netflix
