Paul MitchellSuper Skinny Serum, 150 m

I have thick, wavy hair and, over the years, I’ve spent far too much money on useless products that claim to ‘tame’ hair like mine and make it smooth and manageable. I’d given up hope on finding anything that actually worked and assumed that, while there were lots of products marketed towards me, there just wasn’t anything out there that worked for me.I like to get my hair cut in a very specific, short bob (usually thinned out like no one’s business to take away the thickness) and, two years ago, I went to a new hairdresser. Not only did she not chat incessantly and annoyingly – I hate that – but she cut my hair perfectly and used Paul Mitchel Super Skinny Serum before and after blow-drying and straightening my hair. She recommended I use two pumps while my hair was still wet and one after drying.There isn’t a lot of info regarding how to use the product on the Paul Mitchell website, just ‘Rub one pump into hands and apply to damp hair starting at the ends and working toward the scalp. Style as desired. Very concentrated.’It’s an amazing product! My hair is sleek and manageable and doesn’t look as thick as it actually is. I can’t praise this serum enough, I’m so happy now that I’ve found it. Obviously, buying it from a hair salon is more expensive than buying it elsewhere but I bought a bottle anyway for around £25 and considered it to be value for money, even at that price, for a superior product.You don’t need to use a lot of it so it does last for months at a time. My daughter has afro air and, despite having her own hair products specifically for her hair type, she steals this serum all the time and absolutely loves it.I will say that halfway through the day I have to use another pump of it to smooth my hair down.I now buy a 150ml bottle from an Amazon seller for £17.16.

This is a great serum. Gives the hair lustre and shine, without being heavy or sticky. This works well in hair extensions as well as in natural hair.Now have this on subscribe and save.

One of my friends had this serum and let me try it. I’ve got frizzy hair that even when straightened can look frizzy in places. This serum is absolutely fantastic at taming my frizz and I don’t know how it does it but it definitely speeds up drying time too. I’ve got quite a lot of hair so anything that can speed up the drying process is a winner for me. Plus it makes my hair look really shiny and you only need a small amount.The directions are to apply to wet hair which I do but I also add a tiny amount to the ends of my hair once I’ve straightened it which adds shine and smooths any fly away bits. Highly recommend!

I like the product previously purchased in hair salon smell was very nice like parfum, this one doesn't smeel that I would like to and more pricy. Overall does what is requested.

This is great! You only need a tiny amount and it helps to smooth my hair when towel dried before I blow dry it. My hairdresser uses it and recommended it.

This spray was recommended to me by my hairdresser. She always manages to make my hair look smooth. Know I can do that myself. It helps smooth fly away ends also leaves your hair smooth and shining. I've tried several other similar products. This one has been the best yet. Would definitely recommend giving this a try.

I have relaxed hair and find that it gets really dry. I've tried spray oil and another serum, but they didn't help hold in the moisture. I tried washing and leaving it (as my hair is naturally loose curls) and putting some leave in conditioner and was horrified to see over time my hair breaking from the front.Enter this serum. It was recommended on an online forum as the answer to something to help with hair growth.All the reviews are true.It's light, not sticky and gives your hair shine. I literally cannot stop touching my hair! I keep smoothing it in front of the mirror and hoping that the sin of such vanity is excused for what I went through before now!I add a little bit of castor oil in the patchy bit to boost hair growth. My scalp in that area used to feel dry and sore, but it feels so much better now and the hair is filling in.I know I'm going on, but sometimes I catch myself in the mirror and instead of looking scraggy I'm looking SLEEK! I can't say how much of a difference this had made. I had a professional wash and press 2 weeks ago and normally by now my hair looks like it needs a vacation. Now I look like I've been on vacation!I purchased two as it was on offer. I actually feel to bulk buy a few more just so I know I have a good supply!

Great product. Does not leave hair looking greasy. Actually works. Hairdresser recommended this to me. Good size bottle too.
