Learning Resources Soft Foam Magnetic Rainbow Fraction Circles

This is a set of 9 foam circles with magnetic backs: 1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/8, 1/10, 1/12.Each circle (besides 1), comes in parts which then join nicely together to form a whole circle - this reinforces the idea of fractions being parts of a whole.They are all a different colour, which is useful in explaining equivalent fractions (look different but show the same amount).The magnetic back on each circle is strong enough to stay on our magnetic whiteboard yet easy enough for my daughter to move around, lift and stick around by herself.The foam circles come in a plastic container for easy storage, and to prevent them parts getting lost.The quality of this product is excellent.This has proven to be a very good visual aid for my daughter who was struggling with fractions, but is now calculating them effortlessly.

Very good, well made product, love that it is magnetic, very good for homeschooling explaining fractions, etc (would have been nice to also have included the percentages - 50%, 30% etc) but very happy with it - every piece separates in different rainbow colors, child enjoyed sticking them together - would definitely recommend!

Good little set to teach your KS2-3 child fractions or as a visual tool for fractions problems/homework. Learning resources has proven to be good quality for us this year. All items we got from them are serving our kids well and are excellent tools for their intended purpose

I do like to try out my resources with my tutees before leaving feedback. So far I've used them with Year 3 (times two), year 5 and year 6 kiddies. I like them. They are in a clear round tube which always helps with carrying around, they're made from foam and are magnetic, so good for using on the whiteboard. The kids all really liked them and were keen to mess about with them. I knew they were a good buy this evening when an 8 year old started to see the equivalency between the fractions without my help. As we all know, without times tables we can't do fractions easily. Being able to manipulate the fractions and compare them is key and this resource allows that. Within minutes the year 3 child had grasped that 1 whole = 4/4, 6/6, 12/12 etc and that 6/12 was the same as 1/2. It was effortless.My only complaint: the white text on 1/4 doesn't show clearly (I'll write over it). For less than a tenner, this resource is a bargain. Just what I wanted and if will help kids understand fractions, and THAT is priceless. 🤓

Muy prácticos, son como de goma Eva con un iman detrás. Sirven para entender como funcionan las fracciones. Me ha gustado mucho.

Ich finde sie super zum Lernen und Erklären, mehr muss man dazu gar nicht sagen. Der Deckel eignet sich auch super als Schablone - falls ein Kind irgendwo ein zusätzliches Zwölftel reinquetschen will.Die Dose enthält ein Ganzes, Halbe, Drittel, Viertel, Fünftel, Sechstel, Achtel, Zehntel und Zwölftel.Es fehlen Siebentel, Neuntel und Elftel - das stört aber in erster Linie nur meinen Perfektionismus.Das einzige echte Manko: die Dose schließt so perfekt ab, dass die Luft nicht einweichen kann -> die Dose geht sofort auf und die Bruchteile purzeln heraus. Ich habe sie mit Klebeband zugepickt.
