Wow what a stunning beautiful set, I bought these for my Childminding setting for children aged from 12 months to three years and all the children adored it to play with. The set is well made, chunky pieces for little hands to hold and position easily. The colours used are gorgeous, really traditional yet modern too with so much detail. The barn was easy to assemble and sturdy, it didn't come apart at all whilst on display. The price I paid at the time was excellent, it will last for years to come, shame the box didn't come with a lid as some mention but it doesn't detract from the fact it's such a wonderful item that's unique compared to others available.

I have just bought this nativity set for my little girl to place on her window, and I have to say, it is beautiful. The pieces are lovely and chunky and the overall set is much bigger than I anticipated. The characters are very apparent and beautifully made (I'd expect nothing less from Melissa and Doug). Overall I'm delighted with my purchase and I know that it's going to be cherished for years to come. Her little face lit up when I presented it to her and although it's only the 28th of November, she insisted in setting it up in her room immediately. Another thing I'd like to mention is that I got it at a bargain price in an Amazon Black Friday deal so that was an extra bonus.

It was a nicely made wooden nativity that will last for many years and can be brought out over and over to remind the family of many happy times

I got this for the nursery school I work at the children love it. Yes there is a Joseph in the set. For the price its great quality with each of the characters a good size and good to handle.Like all the other reviews I would have give theis 5 stars but there is no lid a let down with an iteam of this quality.

At first, I was a bit doubtful as to whether to purchase this set but once it arrived packaged in a wooden case and the pieces were all intact, I knew the children in my class would love it. It was a great way to retell the nativity and the children used it independently once left out on the shelf. The pieces are beautifully cut, solid and the bright colours make it eye-catching. I added a tiny bulb at the top to signify the light and it added another dimension. Overall, love the set but the only downfall is storing it (comes in a wooden box and a plastic cover on top - once storing it vertically the pieces fall off unless tape is attached over the plastic).

This will be fantastic for small world play for my preschool. Not just a puzzle the children will be able to create scenes and develop story telling skills.

Beautiful product, high quality finish, I am so happy I found this beautiful nativity set. The figurines are larger than I expected and look wonderful when set up. Excellent value for money

It is beautifully painted and a good size. However the fact they keep falling over is bitterly disappointing, so much so if I hadn't opened it I would send it back. The figures should also be painted on the back too to aid play and a top for the box to store properly. If rather pay more to fix these things, then it would be perfect.

This comes in a wood frame around the pieces. It was shipped on it's own and NOT in a box. Just wrapped in clear plastic. The corners of the frame are marred from the shipping experience. I am very disappointed. I really, really like it but did not expect it to come damaged!

Bellissimo presepe. Io l'ho preso perché al mio bimbo di 3 anni piace il presepe e in questo modo non lo può rompere. Sulla scatola si trova la storia della nascita di Gesù. Molto ben fatto.

Precioso belén de madera adquirido para mi iniciar a mi hija de 2 años en las navidades y las tradiciones navideñas.Las figuras son grandes. Se sostienen de pie fácilmente gracias a su grosor. El acabado es absolutamente ideal, podemos colocarlos y jugar con los personajes del belén.Si tuviera que ponerle una pega sería el hecho de que no están pintados por ambos lados, únicamente el niño Jesús es el que está pintado por ambos lados, una cara es con la "cuna" vacía, y la otra cuando ha nacido, esto es perfecto para que los niños entiendan por qué se celebra la Navidad la noche del 24.Llevaba tiempo buscando un belén que fuera de madera, como el resto de sus juguetes. No imaginé lo precioso que sería y sobretodo el hecho de que puede ser nuestro Belén para siempre, ya que la caja de madera con el molde plástico para cada figura hará que se conserve perfectamente de un año para otro.Lo recomiendo a todos aquellos padres que tengan niños en casa, y a adultos que quieran tener un belén elegante y duradero. Incluso para regalar, es un adorno de Navidad perfecto.

Esta tan bonito que unos vecinos nos encargaron comprar uno para ellos. Las figuras son de madera gruesa aunque poniendo aserrín se caen con más facilidad (algo que se solucionó con cinta doble cara). Recomiendo: 1. no tirar el plástico, ya que servirá para guardar las figuras para el próximo año y 2. el rectángulo de madera usarlo como base (por si le agregan aserrín o heno). Lo mejor de todo: nuestra niña de 2.5 años está encantada.
